    摘要: A lubrication monitoring device monitors a lubricating condition of a lubricator feeding an oil droplet at a predetermined time interval by means of a discharge nozzle having a nozzle orifice. The lubrication monitoring device comprises: a pair of electrodes disposed in the proximity of the nozzle orifice; a capacitance detecting portion for detecting the variation of capacitance between the pair of electrodes, the capacitance varying in conjunction with the varying amount of oil fed from the nozzle orifice to space between the pair of electrodes; and a determination portion for determining whether the oil droplet is fed at the predetermined time interval or not, the determination made based on the detection result supplied from the capacitance detecting portion.

    摘要: Minute elements are formed while a photo deviation is suppressed between a spin torque oscillator and a main pole and damage is prevented on the ends of the spin torque oscillator in microwave-assisted recording. A magnetic recording head used for microwave-assisted recording includes: a main pole; a spin torque oscillator that is disposed on the main pole and includes a magnetization high-speed rotation layer for rotating magnetization at a high speed by a spin torque; a protective film that is disposed in the track width direction of the spin torque oscillator; an insulating film formed over the wall surfaces of the main pole and the wall surfaces of the protective film; and a magnetic film formed on the insulating film so as to cover at least the main pole.

The outer circumferential length of the ring material 203 of the third layer is longer than the inner circumferential length of the ring material 204 of the fourth layer, and the ring material 203 of the third layer is press-fit into the ring material 204 of the fourth layer.

    摘要: At the time of starting a vehicle, the torque capacity of a friction engagement element is made less than the torque capacity of a continuously variable transmission by setting a ratio between the pressure-receiving area of a control oil chamber (77a) of a garage shift control valve (77) and the pressure-receiving area of a feedback chamber (77d) of the valve, and a ratio between the pressure-receiving area of a control oil chamber (73a) of a secondary sheave control valve 73 and the pressure-receiving area of a feedback chamber 73d of the valve. This allows a control based on a single linear solenoid valve SLT although the control is for eliminating slip of a belt of the continuously variable transmission. Therefore, the construction of the oil pressure control apparatus is simplified so that the size and cost thereof can be reduced.
