摘要: A torque transfer device in the drive train of a motor vehicle for transferring torque between a drive unit and a shaft rotatable about a rotation axis, including: a hydrodynamic torque converter, which includes a converter cover, connectable to the drive unit, and which can be coupled through a pump shell to a turbine shell for torque transfer, which can be bridged by a torque converter lockup clutch for torque transfer, which comprises a piston, movable in an axial direction within a range towards the cover in order to clamp a friction liner support with at least one friction liner between the piston and the cover for torque transfer. A friction ring is disposed between the piston and the friction liner support, and the friction ring is movable in an axial direction within a range between the piston and the friction liner support and connected to the converter cover.

The invention is operatively arranged such that the rotational vibration damper is equipped with a mechanical stop mechanism that is in effect as soon as a maximum design load on the rotational vibration damper has been exceeded.

摘要: A hydraulic torque converter, particularly for use in a motor vehicle between the prime mover and the transmission of the power train, employs a combination of a bypass clutch with one or more torsional vibration dampers which brings about savings in space and/or in the number of parts. In addition, the torque converter can stand long periods of use and is less prone to wear, adverse influences of abruptly developing stresses and/or other undesirable influences than conventional torque converters. Furthermore, the improved torque converter employs or can employ a bypass clutch and/or one or more torsional vibration dampers simpler and less expensive than but superior to those in conventional torque converters.

摘要: A torque-transmitting apparatus for motor vehicles includes a hydrokinetic torque converter with a housing connected to the driving shaft of an engine. The housing contains a pump and a turbine, the latter arranged to drive an input shaft of a power train. At least one damper is arranged in the power flow path between the turbine and a rotary output element of the apparatus. The damper has an input member constrained to rotate with the turbine and an output member connected to the rotary output element. The input member and the output member are rotatable relative to each other against the opposing forces of energy-storing devices arranged between the input member and the output member. The input member has a radially outer portion in form-locking engagement with the turbine.
