摘要: Providing traffic flow control services includes receiving requests at an arbiter of a traffic control subsystem. The traffic control subsystem is in a first state, and the requests are received from vehicle transmitters in proximity of the traffic control subsystem. Traffic flow control services also include applying a pre-defined condition to the requests and implementing a traffic flow control activity responsive to application of the pre-defined condition. The traffic flow control activity includes maintaining the first state or changing the first state of the traffic control subsystem to a second state.

摘要: The subject matter described herein includes methods, systems, and computer readable media for controlling presentation and selection of objects that are digital images depicting subjects. According to one aspect, a plurality of objects arranged in a plurality of vectors is presented via a presentation device. Each object in a second vector is associated with an object in a first vector. Each of the objects is a digital image depicting a subject. A first object presented in a first vector is selected in response to a first selection event associated with the first object. A second object non-adjacent to the first object is determined based on a predefined relationship associating the first object with the second object. The second object in the second vector adjacent to the first object in the first vector is presented via the presentation device in response to the determination.

摘要: Methods and systems are described for generating a markup-language-based resource from an electronic media spreadsheet. An exemplary method includes receiving first and second cell information for first and second cells of an electronic media spreadsheet to produce as first and second cell outputs first and second media streams, respectively, via the electronic media spreadsheet, where the second cell information includes an expression dependent on the first cell output for producing the second media stream. The method also includes generating a markup-language-based resource having first and second markup language representations of the first and second cells, respectively, and generating directions compatible with the markup-language-based resource representing the expression of the second cell. The generated directions are configured for processing by a web browser with the markup language-based resource to produce a presentable representation of the second media stream via the web browser.

摘要: Managing user access to an electronic media sharing environment is described. An account balance representing a data volume authorized for download via the electronic client is maintained for a user of an electronic client,. The account balance is increased/decreased by a predetermined amount as the electronic client uploads/downloads electronic data to/from a common datastore sharing accessibility of the electronic data among a plurality of users. The predetermined amount is based on at least one of a data quantity and a data quality of the electronic data being uploaded or downloaded. When the account balance is less than a predetermined amount associated with a requested download, an alternate version of the electronic data having at least one of lesser data quantity and a lesser data quality than the electronic data requested to be downloaded in the user request is provided for the electronic client to download.

摘要: Methods and systems are described for presenting a transition effect between remotely-sourced content in a browser. One method includes receiving an association between a transition effect and a condition for applying the transition effect when transitioning between presenting remotely-sourced content in a widget of a browser, and storing separately from the remotely-sourced content the association between the transition effect and the condition. While a first remotely-sourced content received from a first content provider via a network is presented in the widget, an indication to receive, via the network, a second remotely-sourced content from a second content provider for presenting in the widget is received. In response to receiving the indication, it is determined whether the condition is satisfied. The method includes applying the transition effect associated with the condition to at least one of the first remotely-sourced content and the second remotely-sourced content when the condition is satisfied to create a transition that is presentable in the widget.

摘要: The subject matter described herein includes methods, systems, and computer readable media for associating information with a digital image. According to one method, a digital image having associated metadata that corresponds to a first entity in a dataset that includes hierarchical relationships between entities is received. A subject perspective is identified for the digital image for a subject corresponding to a second entity in the dataset. Information for the digital images retrieved from the dataset based on a hierarchical relationship between the first and second entities in the dataset. The retrieved information is associated with the digital image.

摘要: A method of playing media stored on a media player (MP) is disclosed. The method includes identifying at least one media program and specifying a date and time to begin playing each media program, to provide a time-schedule playlist. The method further includes specifying a gap-response to a gap in the continuity of media playback, indicating as priority content, media to play, thereby interrupting the time-schedule playlist in progress, and specifying an interruption-response following each interruption of the time-schedule playlist. Specifying the gap-response includes: turning off the MP; playing media explicitly specified; playing media from a second media playlist; and, playing priority content media. Indicating priority content media comprises at least one of: indicating specific media; and, indicating categories of media. Specifying the interruption-response comprises specifying at least one of: shifting the content of the time-schedule playlist; and rejoining the content of the time-schedule playlist.

摘要: An asynchronous, peer-to-peer design is provided for synchronizing data on machines within a cluster using messaging. The data may be represented in memory as a document object model in secondary storage. Messaging may be handled by a messaging system with topic destinations. The design supports persistence management, locking, and transactions with rollback, and maintains a uniform state for the data across all nodes and secondary storage at all times. Furthermore, barring catastrophic failure of all machines in the cluster and secondary storage, there is no possibility of losing committed data.

摘要: A portlet data synchronization system, method and apparatus. The system can include a portal server configured to distribute portal content to requesting clients over a computer communications network. The system further can include one or more portlets hosted within the portal content through the portal server. Finally, the system can include a synchronization aggregator configured to aggregate synchronization markup for individual ones of the portlets in a single synchronization envelope.
