摘要: An emergency passage system facilitates movement of an emergency vehicle through traffic such that the emergency vehicle may arrive at a destination more quickly. The system includes a plurality of visual warning devices located along roads and/or at intersections, and a plurality of wireless communications modules. Each wireless communications module is connected to a respective visual warning device, and each wireless communications module has a directivity and a signal threshold defining an activation zone such that when the emergency vehicle enters an activation zone of a respective wireless communications module, the visual warning device connected to said respective wireless communications module displays a first visual warning.

The traffic management system may determine a movement plan for each traffic object in the collaboration group based on received measurements about the road segment and the planned route of the emergency vehicle. The traffic management system may control a transmitter to send the movement plan to each traffic object in the collaboration group.

摘要: Embodiments of the present disclosure relate to a method and a system for determining a route from a motor vehicle location to a destination, in which a vehicle control unit transmits an emergency call to a recipient of a central exchange. In the process, a computing device at the central exchange determines the route to the destination. In the process, the computing device of the central exchange takes into account, in selecting the destination, a first time period which the motor vehicle requires to traverse the route and a second time period which a rescue vehicle requires to reach the destination. The computing device selects the destination such that a sum of the two time periods is minimal.

The advanced preemption system includes a first set of wireless magnetometers to be installed on a railway track of the railroad crossing on a first side of the railroad crossing. The first set of wireless magnetometers to be located at an advanced preemption crossing start activation point that is being at a distance before an existing crossing start activation point of the railroad crossing to provide the warning of the additional advanced preemption time.

摘要: Techniques for ability enhancement are described. Some embodiments provide an ability enhancement facilitator system (“AEFS”) configured to enhance a user's ability to operate or function in a transportation-related context as a pedestrian or a vehicle operator. In one embodiment, the AEFS is configured perform vehicular threat detection based on information received at a road-based device, such as a sensor or processor that is deployed at the side of a road. An example AEFS receives, at a road-based device, information about a first vehicle that is proximate to the road-based device. The AEFS analyzes the received information to determine threat information, such as that the vehicle may collide with the user. The AEFS then informs the user of the determined threat information, such as by transmitting a warning to a wearable device configured to present the warning to the user.

摘要: In some implementations, a method includes receiving, by one or more processing devices configured to control a traffic signal at an intersection of roads, camera data providing images of the intersection, the processing devices being located proximate to the intersection, using one or more local machine learning models to identify objects at the intersection and paths of the objects based on the camera data, providing traffic data generated from outputs of the one or more local machine learning models to a remote traffic planning system over a network, receiving, from the remote traffic planning system, a remote instruction for the traffic signal determined using one or more remote machine learning models, and providing a control instruction to the traffic signal at the intersection that is determined based on (i) the remote instruction from the remote traffic planning system, and (ii) a local instruction generated by the processing devices.
