摘要: An extensible incremental compiler includes an incremental compiler which is configured to pass control to one or more extensions at one or more points in the compilation process. The extensible incremental compiler determines whether an extension is active at various points in the compilation process and, if so, transfers control to the active extension. The extension mechanism performs its programed functionality and then returns control back to the incremental compiler. The extensions are supplied to the incremental compiler via a linked library.

摘要: A parallel computing system is described that comprises a plurality of uniquely labeled, parallel processors, each processor capable of modelling a three-dimensional object that includes a plurality of vertices, faces and edges. The system comprises a front-end processor for issuing a modelling command to the parallel processors, relating to a three-dimensional object. Each parallel processor, in response to the command and through the use of its own unique label, creates a directed-edge (d-edge) data structure that uniquely relates an edge of the three-dimensional object to one face of the object. Each d-edge data structure at least includes vertex descriptions of the edge and a description of the one face. As a result, each processor, in response to the modelling command, operates upon a small component of the model and generates results, in parallel with all other processors, without the need for processor-to-processor intercommunication.

摘要: A portlet data synchronization system, method and apparatus. The system can include a portal server configured to distribute portal content to requesting clients over a computer communications network. The system further can include one or more portlets hosted within the portal content through the portal server. Finally, the system can include a synchronization aggregator configured to aggregate synchronization markup for individual ones of the portlets in a single synchronization envelope. The synchronization aggregator further can be have a configuration for distributing responses to the synchronization markup to respective ones of the portlets.

摘要: The system of the present invention includes a form design component, a form description repository, and a forms processing component Each form used with the system has a layout including a form identifier field with a common location space for each given form of the plurality of different types of forms. The forms processing component is coupled to the form description repository and receives data from an electronic clipboard, through an interface port, which permits recognition of a unique form identifier, communication with the form description repository, receipt of a form definition corresponding to the unique form identifier, and correct processing of the data on the given form (based on the identifier) The method includes generating a form identifier field having a common location space for each different type of form, prompting a user of the system to enter a unique form identifier into the field, via input of at least one handwritten stroke, recording electronic stroke data indicative of the at least one handwritten stroke, storing the stroke data together with electronic entry field data indicative of contents of other fields of the given form, and then invoking a handwriting recognition engine on the stroke data so as to obtain correct identity of each given form, thereby permitting proper processing of the electronic entry field data.
