摘要： A liquid metering unit comprising a conduit of flexible material depending between first and second rotatable rollers, each having first and second curved surfaces and first and second flat portions. The rollers are driven in opposite directions so that their first curved surfaces impinge upon the conduit, constricting it and causing it to move upwards along its longitudinal axis such that any liquid contained therein is expelled from its lower end. Continued rotation of the rollers presents the second flat portions to the conduit, which is released and drops back to its original position. The conduit is recharged with liquid from a reservoir connected to its upper end by means of a vacuum source selectively connectable to its lower end.

摘要： The present disclosure relates to a child seat for rearward-facing use in a vehicle. It comprises a back portion and a squab portion. The back portion comprises a force-receiving assembly, located at the shoulder region, which is of a more rigid material than a main portion of the back portion, the main portion being of a light-weight material. The force-receiving assembly comprises a first portion arranged at the first side of the back portion providing an anchor point for a shoulder portion of a child safety belt arrangement. The force-receiving assembly further comprises a second portion arranged at the second side of the back portion providing an anchor point for a child seat fixation means. The disclosure further relates to a child seat arrangement, a kit of parts and a vehicle comprising the child seat.

The apparatus includes, among other elements, a base portion and engaging means for releasably engaging the information storage media via said aperture. The engaging means includes at least one arm resiliently cantilevered to the base portion, retaining means for engaging and retaining the information storage media on the apparatus, and release means. The depression of the release means disengages the retaining means and the information storage media. A locating means is provided for receiving a security member as it is inserted beneath the engaging means in a first direction parallel to the base portion so as to inhibit operation of the release means. The locating means is arranged to locate the security member laterally as it is inserted beneath the engaging means.
