摘要: Methods, systems, and apparatus, including computer programs encoded on computer storage media, for classifying events in a stream computing system using hierarchical analytic models. One of the methods includes receiving, by a stream computing system, data representing the values of one or more data attributes of an event in a stream of events. The values of each of the one or more data attributes are evaluated according to respective attribute-specific and class-specific criteria of a hierarchical analytic model in a predetermined order defined by the model. When a first value of a first data attribute satisfies one or more particular criteria for a first class, the first class of the plurality of classes is assigned to the event.

摘要: A heartbeat monitoring apparatus monitors the status of CPE devices based on received inform messages including events or event codes and heartbeat monitoring parameters. The heartbeat monitoring apparatus may generate and send alarm messages to external systems upon detecting a failure (e.g., offline, reboot, etc.) status of a CPE device. The heartbeat monitoring parameters may include an indication of which CPE devices (e.g., type of device, location of devices, or the like) are to be monitored, a heartbeat interval and subinterval, the frequency of a heartbeat check for alarms, or the like. The inform messages may include HEARTBEAT events for the CPE devices.

摘要: Batch compression management of messages. A message being sent to a batch for transmission is intercepted. The message is assigned to a batch pool, in which multiple batch pools are provided as sub-sets of the batch. The assigning of the message to the batch pool is based on a similarity of properties of the message with other messages and determined by looking up the properties in a batch pool mapping database. The message is added to the batch pool or a new batch pool is created for the message. A batch pool of messages is compressed using a dictionary of the properties common to at least some of the messages in the batch pool. The compressed batch pools are transmitted over an input/output channel.

摘要: Detecting equipment failure risk in industrial process may include distributing equipment operations data to a cluster of nodes based on a range of time and operation specified in maintenance data associated with the equipment. From a record entry in the maintenance data, an operation, installation and maintenance time may be determined. A plurality of nodes storing equipment operations data associated with the operation during a time range between the installation and the maintenance time are selected. Operation features may be determined by distributed processing operation in the plurality of nodes. The operation features are aggregated and added as an entry in a target table. Equipment failure risk is detected by risk failure analysis performed based on the target table. A signal may be sent to automatically adjust or correct one or more operation features.

摘要: An operational support system (OSS) (96) for a telecommunications network, is coupled by a data communications network (DCN) (410, 510) with network elements (110) managed by the OSS. The OSS is managed by monitoring (200) an actual capability of the data communications network, and performance of an OSS operation is predicted (220) based on reference performance information and on the actual capability of the DCN. An alarm is raised based on a comparison (230) between the predicted performance and a defined threshold associated with the operation of the operational support system. Compared to known OSS monitoring to detect when an OSS operation has failed to complete, this raising of the alarm can enable pre-emptive management action. By making the prediction based on actual DCN capability, the prediction can have reduced errors from variability or unpredictability in DCN capability.

摘要: A real time information manager which processes raw data from data providers, such as feeds of current information about financial product offerings, is provided. Raw data objects received from various data providers are analyzed, formatted, and a current version of each unique data object is stored in an object storage pool. Information about the state of each objects is transmitted on a particular output data channel in accordance with the type of object. A subscriber process can access one or more of the data channels and utilize the broadcast data. In one configuration, one or more client managers are provided which subscribe to particular data channels and serve as an intermediary between the real time information manager and sets of clients.

摘要: An architecture is provided that can scale content resolution in order to mitigate errors in a provisioned service of a communication network, such as a wireless service or a femtocell service that integrates with DSL or other broadband carriers. The architecture can identify fault conditions relating to e.g., bandwidth oversubscription or symbolization integrity. Based upon such identification, the architecture can alter encoding format codecs of certain types of content in order to reduce their resolution/quality, thereby mitigating bandwidth oversubscription fault conditions or freeing up space (without necessarily increasing bandwidth) to insert additional FEC code.

摘要: Notifying original state listeners within a domain model. Identifying listener registration information pertaining to a listener. Monitoring a hierarchical relationship tree for an observable event, whereby the hierarchical relationship tree includes model objects, and whereby an observable event includes one or more of a change to a model object, an error condition associated with a model object, and the hierarchical relationship tree returning to an original state. Determining that a first observable event to the hierarchical relationship tree has occurred. Transmitting a notification to the listener detailing the occurrence of the first observable event. Determining that a second observable event to the hierarchical relationship tree has occurred. Determining that a third observable event to the hierarchical relationship tree has occurred, whereby the third observable event includes the hierarchical relationship tree returning to an original state. Transmitting a notification to the listener detailing the occurrence of the third observable event.

摘要: There is provided mechanisms for service interruption reporting of a multicast bearer for group communications. A method is performed by a client node. The method comprises obtaining instruction from a control node of the multicast bearer, where the instruction instructs whether or not the client node is to report service interruption of the multicast bearer. The method comprises detecting service interruption of the multicast bearer. The method comprises selectively reporting the service interruption to the control node in accordance with the instruction.
