    摘要: A master medium for use in magnetic transfer of information includes a metal disk which has a first relief or recess pattern representing the information. The metal disk is produced by exposing a photoresist film formed on a base disk with a laser or electron beam modulated with the information while rotating the base disk; developing the photoresist film so as to form an original disk having a second relief or recess pattern; depositing metal on the original disk so as to mold the metal disk on the original disk; and removing the metal disk from the original disk.

    摘要: A high frequency signal switching unit includes a printed circuit board accommodated in the casing and having a ground layer formed on substantially one entire surface thereof. Input and output terminals are mounted on the casing, and a high frequency relay is mounted on the printed circuit board for switching between the input terminal and the output terminal. The high frequency relay has a plurality of relay contact terminals and a grounding terminal. A plurality of coaxial cables having respective internal and external conductors connect the input and output terminals to the relay contact terminals. The grounding terminal of the high frequency relay and the external conductors of the coaxial cables are connected to the ground layer of the printed circuit board, while each of the internal conductors of the coaxial cables is connected to one of the relay contact terminals of the high frequency relay.

    摘要: A favorable magnetic transfer is performed to a perpendicular magnetic recording medium. A master medium is provided with a substrate on the surface of which protrusion portions, which form a pattern corresponding to the data that is to be transferred, having a pliable layer thereon have been formed. The master medium is further provided with a soft magnetic layer formed in the depression portions between the protrusion portions, and which is magnetically linked to the soft magnetic layer of the protrusion portions. The soft magnetic layer of the surface of the protrusion portions is conjoined with the magnetic recording layer of a perpendicular magnetic recording medium to form a conjoined body, and a transfer magnetic field is applied to the conjoined body in the direction from the substrate of the master medium toward the slave medium to perform the magnetic transfer.

    摘要: A favorable magnetic transfer is performed on a vertical magnetic recording medium. A permanent magnet apparatus employs a transfer magnetic field generating means provided with two columnar permanentmagnets, each having a cross-sectional surface are equal to or greater than that of the track surface of the slave medium. A conjoined body formed of a slave medium, which has been initially magnetized unidirectionally in the direction perpendicular to the track surface thereof, and two master mediums, disposed on respective surfaces of the slave medium, is inserted between the permanent magnets so that a transfer magnetic field can be applied thereto in the direction substantially opposite that in which the initial magnetization has been performed. A uniform transfer magnetic field is applied over the entirety of track surface of the slave medium so as to simultaneously perform a magnetic transfer over the entirety of the track surface.
