    摘要： An improved tray for stacking papers formed with images by an image forming apparatus and an improved arrangement for discharging air from the inside to the outside of the apparatus are disclosed. The tray is free from troubles ascribable to deformation caused by the weight of papers without resorting to reinforcement, i.e., an increase in volume. An anti-roll member for stiffening papers does not interfere with the tray when the tray is rotated. Hot air produced by, e.g., a fixing unit is prevented from reaching the operator of the apparatus.

    摘要： A finisher for an image forming apparatus of the present invention includes a path for conveying a stapled paper stack and located at a high level so as to reduce the length of a path preceding the above path. This reduces the possibility of a paper jam in the finisher and operation time. A tray included in the finisher is located at a high level in accordance with the height of the path assigned to a stabled paper stack. The tray can therefore be located at a position allowing the operator to pick up papers in a natural position. A guide guides the staple cassette into and out of the stapler body alone. Such a simple configuration insures the accurate insertion and removal of the staple cassette.

The basic plug has a ferrule, a spring element, and a cylindrical tube. The spring element is positioned between a ferrule and a cylindrical tube, so that it exerts forces toward them in an axial direction. The ferrule has a common dimensional structure for securing an optical fiber and has a shape enabling the connection to any one of various kinds of housing members. Thus, the basic plug connects separate optical fibers together through the housing member.

    摘要： A digital time base corrector reduces the capacity of a memory to approximately a 1 H of image data while maintains the interleave relationship between a luminance signal and a chrominance signal of a video signal. Polarity data indicating the polarity of a burst signal is generated every 1 H, and a latch circuit is provided for holding and outputting the polarity data during a period of reading image data and polarity data from an image data memory and a sub-carrier phase memory, corresponding to the 1 H in which the polarity data was generated. When dropout occurs in a video signal, the image data and the polarity data are inhibited from being written into the image data memory and the sub-carrier phase memory. When discrepancy is detected between read polarity data and polarity data held in the latch circuit, the color phase of the read image data is inverted.
