Abstract:
The present invention relates to massage control of a terminal device provided with a messaging function and acts to enhance the display function for new and old events such as reception of plural pieces of mail. The terminal device provided with a messaging function that indicates an event comprises a first display mark (unread-mail icon) indicative of an event; and a second display mark (newly-incoming-mail icon) indicative of a new event generated while the first display mark is being displayed, the second display mark indicating the new event in a different form from that of the first display mark, wherein an old and the new events are respectively indicated by the first and second display marks.
Abstract:
An image forming apparatus which forms an image by transferring a developed image formed on an image holding member onto a transfer material by a transfer unit. The image forming apparatus is further provided with an induced-charge density suppressing unit. This induced-charge density suppressing unit suppresses the density of electric charge induced in the area of the image holding member which is opposite to an image forming member as a result of stoppage of the image forming member that is opposite to the image holding member and is electrostatically charged.
Abstract:
For taking a characteristic impedance matching of signal transmission lines in a package which carries thereon a semiconductor chip with a very high-speed LSI formed thereon, there is provided a semiconductor integrated circuit device wherein one ends of signal transmission lines formed on a main surface of a package substrate are extended up to the position just under pads formed on a main surface of the semiconductor chip and are connected to the pads on the chip electrically through bump electrodes, while opposite ends of the signal transmission lines are extended to the outer peripheral portion of the main surface of the package substrate and outer leads are bonded thereto.
Abstract:
A flip-flop circuit receives a pair of complementary data signals, then outputs complementary signals corresponding to the pair of complementary data signals. The pair of data signals are also supplied to a driving gate means which outputs a signal corresponding to at least one data signal of the pair of data signals supplied thereto. The driving gate means also comprises at least one try-state gate controlled by a clock signal. An output signal of the driving gate means is held by a memory means, and also outputted as complementary output signals.
Abstract:
A material for high-vacuum vessels characterized by depositing a mixture film of stainless steel and boron nitride on the surface of a metal or an alloy through the sputtering process, and heating and precipitating hexagonal boron nitride onto the surface thereof.
Abstract:
A communication terminal having one or more one-touch-dial buttons simplifies operations needed for registration of destination data such as phone numbers or mail addresses. A communication terminal (e.g., a cellular phone) having one or more one-touch-dial buttons includes a destination-data registration unit (e.g., a phone-directory database) that allows destination data such as phone numbers or mail addresses to be registered therein, a one-touch-dial registration unit that allows destination data to be registered therein so as to be associated with the one or more one-touch-dial buttons, and a control unit that, in response to an operation of the one or more one-touch-dial buttons, determines whether destination data has been registered in the one-touch-dial registration unit or the destination-data registration unit, and that outputs a result of the determination and a query message regarding registration of the destination data.

Abstract:
The present invention relates to registration of read out information corresponding to written information and is intended to improve operationality of the registration or deletion of the written information and the read out information. The present invention relates to a read out information registration apparatus (e.g., cellular phone) that registers the read out information corresponding to the written information, and the registration (or deletion) of the read out information is performed in conjunction with the registration (or deletion) of the written information such as telephone directory information of a name of an opposite party, etc., a word used in e-mail, etc., and address descriptions to centralize the operation and process. A user is constrained from performing processes such as edition and deletion of the registration contents of the read out information, and the written information and the read out information are managed in a centralized manner.
Abstract:
A logic circuit, most suitable for the NOR gate, logic function and integration on a single chip with a plurality of such logic circuits and other digital circuits receiving the outputs of the logic circuits and the logic circuits themselves connected and cascade, wherein plural groups of input transistors are provided, with a load through the voltage source and one of the groups, field effect transistor between the voltage source and the other group, so that its gate is connected to the node between the load and first group and its source is connected to the output terminal, with the improvement being in finding a leakage load for the field effect transistor through the voltage source, providing a clamping circuit for the gate of the transistor. The clamping circuit can include a transistor having its gate connected to the output with a delay so that it will not come on until after a substantial portion of the rise time of the output has expired. An additional logic output may be taken from the gate of this transistor, preferably through a transistor to match the outputs, so that the logic circuit is provided with two independent outputs useful for providing adjacent logic or digital circuits with a conveniently close terminal for input, and further to take advantage of the isolation of the outputs by providing other directions for both outputs for circuit elements that must remain isolated, for example in cross coupling two logic circuits as a flipflop. One or more of the may be a field effect transistor, particularly provided with boot strapping. For otherwise identical logic circuits as a part of an overall integrated logic circuit, the clamping circuits may differ only with respect to matching respective output voltages or respective output currents with respective fan outs or other characteristics of load circuits to be driven by the outputs. Preferably, all of the elements are constructed of field effect transistors.
