    摘要: One aspect of the disclosure provides a method in a wireless terminal device for use with a telecommunications network. The wireless terminal device is operable in a plurality of states, including a first state and a second state. The second state requires less signalling overhead with the telecommunications network than the first state. The method comprises: performing measurements on one or more reference signals transmitted by a cell of the telecommunications network, or a set of one or more beams of a cell of the telecommunications network; based on the measurements, acquiring an access configuration for accessing the cell of the telecommunications network, or for accessing the set of one or more beams of a cell of the telecommunications network; while in the second state, determining the presence of data to transmit to the telecommunications network; and, responsive to determining the presence of data to transmit, utilizing the acquired access configuration to transmit an access request to the cell or the set of one or more beams without performing further measurements on further reference signals from the cell or the set of one or more beams.

    摘要: There is disclosed a method performed by a wireless communication device to enable the reception of a beam sweep transmission. The method comprises obtaining information enabling said wireless communication device to determine whether it is stationary, or essentially stationary. The method also comprises acquiring configuration information comprising information about the starting time for the beam sweep transmission. The method also comprises determining a time when to initiate a reception of the beam sweep transmission based at least partially on the obtained information and the acquired configuration information, thereby allowing said wireless communication device to enter, or remain in, a first activity state until the determined time. The method also comprises entering, at the determined time, a second activity state whereby said wireless communication device is capable to receive the beam sweep. There is also disclosed a complementary method performed by a radio network node as well as corresponding devices and computer programs.

    摘要: Disclosed is methods, devices and computer programs for controlling an uplink measurement procedure. There is in particular disclosed a method performed by a source access network node (1) in a wireless communication network for controlling an uplink measurement procedure for signals transmitted from a User Equipment (2), UE (2), to at least one candidate access network node (3). The method comprises providing (S1) a representation of first uplink resource to the UE (2) and the at least one candidate access network node (3), the first uplink resource to be used for transmission of a signal by the UE (2) for the at least one candidate access network node (3) to perform measurements on. The method also comprises the step of providing (S2), based on an indication that no measurement was performed by a specific candidate access network node (3) on a signal transmitted using the uplink resource, a representation of a second uplink resource to the UE (2) and to the specific candidate access network node (3). A corresponding device is also disclosed. It is also disclosed corresponding methods performed by a UE and a candidate access network node and devices and computer programs related thereto. It is further disclosed a method performed by a source access network node for selecting a target access network node based on the disclosed method for controlling the uplink measurement procedure.

    摘要: The present disclosure relates in general to cellular radio network communication. In one of its aspects, the technology presented herein concerns a method in a wireless device for accessing a communication network. Minimum system information associated with a cell and broadcasted from a network node in the communication network is received, wherein the minimum system information comprises a Public Land Mobile Network identity (PLMN ID) list and an indication that at least one additional PLMN is supported by the communication network. If any of the PLMN IDs in the received minimum system information corresponds to an allowed PLMN ID, the communication network is accessed. If no PLMN ID received in the minimum system information corresponds to an allowed PLMN ID, a request for on-demand system information comprising the at least one additional PLMN is sent to the network node.

The wireless device is connected to a first network element over at least a first and a second wireless link.
