摘要： A recording apparatus including a movable carriage, wherein a plurality of mounting positions are arranged in a moving direction of the carriage, a light receiving portion capable of receiving light emitted by a light emitting portion of a plurality of liquid containers, a determining means for determining whether a correct liquid container is mounted at a mounting position based on a light receiving amount received by the light receiving portion, and a specifying means for specifying an incorrectly mounted liquid container based on the light receiving amount received by the light receiving portion, wherein the specifying means stops the carriage such that any mounting position with the incorrectly mounted liquid container is opposite the light receiving portion, and wherein if a plurality of liquid containers are determined to be incorrectly mounted, the light emitting portion of the incorrectly mounted liquid containers emit light in a specific order.

摘要： A recording apparatus includes a carriage, ink containers mounted in the carriage and including respective light emitters, a driving unit for moving the ink tanks, a light receiver receiving light from the light emitters, a light control unit controlling lighting the light emitter of a predetermined ink container, and a determining unit for determining whether the predetermined ink container is mounted at a correct position, based on the light emitted from the light emitter of the predetermined ink container at positions. When the driving unit does not move the carriage to a position where at least one of the ink containers is facing the light receiver, the determining unit determines whether the at least one of the ink containers is mounted at the correct position, based on the light received from the light emitters at a position adjacent to the facing position.

摘要： A cord end cover includes a female member having a hollow shape with two open ends, and a male member having a leg part to be inserted into the female member from one open end of the female member, and a head part to be fitted into the one open end of the female member for covering the one open end at a final position of the insertion. A spike-like projection is formed on a side of the leg part of the male member along a direction of the insertion. When the leg part is inserted into the female member in a state in which the spike-like projection bites an end of a cord inserted into the female member from the other open end of the female member and drawn out from the one open end, the end of the cord is held between the spike-like projection and an inner surface of the female member.

摘要： A method of conveying bar-like bread dough pieces is provided. By it a bar-like bread dough piece being conveyed on the conveying face of a conveyor, with its axis being perpendicular to the direction of the conveyance thereof, is caused to rotate about the axis at a point downstream of the conveyor, and then the bar-like bread dough piece having a straight shape is moved to the next step. Further, an apparatus for conveying bar-shaped bread dough pieces is provided. It comprises a conveyor, and an engaging member provided near the conveying face of said conveyor, at a point downstream of said conveyor, for allowing a bar-like bread dough piece being conveyed on the conveying face of the conveyor to rotate about its axis while the engaging member contacts the bar-like bread dough piece, the distance between the engaging member and the conveying face being adjustable.

Wherein a deep recess is formed in a side wall portion of the cover, and the discharge means is arranged in a deep area of the recess, and the sheets discharged by the discharge means are stacked on a bottom surface of the recess. Whereby, the visual observation of the discharged sheet can be made more easy, the removal of the jammed sheet can be facilitated, and the recording means can easily be exchanged.

摘要： A cord fastener includes an insert having a lateral inner cord hole and provided at a lower portion thereof with elastic provisional retaining claws extending outwardly and catches for securing the provisional retaining claws; a shell having an insertion hole for insertion of the insert, outer cord holes communicating with the insertion hole and alignable with the inner cord hole, provisional retainers provided on the inner surface of the insertion hole below the outer cord holes for engaging the tips of the provisional retaining claws in a first state when the inner and outer cord holes are approximately aligned, and pushers provided on the inner surface of the insertion hole below the provisional retainers for pressing the provisional retaining claws inwardly in a second state when the insert is pressed further into the insertion hole than in the first state, thereby causing the provisional retaining claws to engage the catches so as to prevent them from engaging the provisional retainers; and a coil spring provided in the insertion hole for biasing the insert in the direction of projecting it outwardly from the insertion hole.

摘要： A compact buckle, streamlined in appearance, comprises a main body and a stopper piece. The main body includes a pair of side frames, and three shafts disposed between the side frames in such a manner as to extend from one side frame to the other. The stopper piece is axially and pivotably supported between the side frames. The stopper piece is provided with a retaining projection which has a sloped surface for cooperating with a correspondingly sloped surface of a winding shaft, which is one of the aforenoted three shafts, in order to frictionally engage and entrap a belt portion therebetween thereby securing the belt portion within the buckle.
