The laminated structure includes at least a first electrode layer, a dielectric layer and a second electrode layer stacked in this order. The first electrode layer includes a first electrode material disposed such that an end surface thereof is exposed in a first side region of the laminated structure and a second electrode material having an insulating film formed on an end surface in a second side region of the laminated structure. The second electrode layer includes the first electrode material disposed such that an end surface is exposed in the second side region of the laminated structure and the second electrode material having an insulating film formed on an end surface in the first side region of the laminated structure.

摘要： In making a contact determination between an object and a display screen, a display apparatus of the present invention is capable of adjusting a region on which to make a contact determination in response to the displayed image in a liquid crystal panel, so that the influence by the displayed image can be suppressed. Moreover, for simplifying the contact determination process, the display apparatus sets solid a region in the picked-up image that is not a target of the contact determination, with a predetermined gradation value.

摘要： An image processing method is applied for recording an image on a recording medium using a plurality of color materials including a chromatic material and an achromatic material. A total amount of recording of the chromatic material is smaller than a total amount of recording of the achromatic material, and a plurality of monochrome modes including a first monochrome mode and a second monochrome mode are provided, the total amount of recording of the chromatic material being different for each of the monochrome modes. The image processing method includes adjusting the amount of recording of the achromatic material so that a recording density of an image recorded in the first monochrome mode and a recording density of an image recorded in the second monochrome mode become equivalent to each other with respect to the same luminance signal.

摘要： In a recording medium selecting step, a recording medium on which an image is to be formed is selected from among a plurality of recording media having unique color tones. In a mode setting step, it is determined whether the image is to be output in a monochrome mode. In a signal converting step, a luminance signal corresponding to the image is converted into a density signal when the monochrome mode is set in the mode setting step. In a forming step, an image is formed on the recording medium selected in the recording medium selecting step according to the density signal. The signal converting step is controlled so that a color tone of an intermediate-density portion of the image formed on the recording medium is set to be near a*=A in the a*b* plane of the CIE-L*a*b* space, where A is a constant.
