    摘要: There is provided an audio coding device which appropriately sets the quantization bit number by a small calculation amount in each stage when coding an input audio signal by performing multi-stage normalization/quantization. A quantization information calculation section determines total quantization information idwl0, based on normalization information idsf, and allocates the total quantization information idwl0 for quantization information idwl1 and quantization information idwl2. At this time, the quantization information calculation section limits the quantization information idwl1 by a limiter lim1, and allocates the total quantization information idwl0 for quantization information idwl1. If the quantization information idwl1 exceeds the limiter lim1, the excess is allocated for the quantization information idwl2. A first normalization section and a first quantization section normalizes and quantizes a frequency spectrum mdspec1 in the first stage. A second normalization section and a second quantization section normalizes and quantizes a differential frequency spectrum mdspec2 in the second stage.

    摘要: The present invention relates to a control device, a control method, and a program capable of improving operability with a simpler configuration.A reproducing apparatus 11 which reproduces sound such as music includes earphones 21 which are worn by a user on the ears and a body 22. A sound pickup unit 31 collects sounds around the reproducing apparatus 11, and a determination unit 34 extracts future amounts from the collected sound and determines whether the sound corresponds to an operation sound generated when the sound pickup unit 31 is directly tapped by the user. A controller 35 executes a process in accordance with a result of the determination performed by the determination unit 34. For example, when a sound pickup unit 31-1 is tapped once within a predetermined period of time, the controller 35 instructs a reproduction controller 39 to stop reproduction of music. In the reproducing apparatus 11, various function control processes may be performed by a simple operation of tapping the sound pickup unit 31 and buttons are not required. The present invention is applicable to a music player.

    摘要: There is provided a playback method for decode-processing and playing back coded audio data which is transmitted with necessary stereo process information required for a stereo process intermittently multiplexed into coded information of a monaural audio signal. The playback method includes a first step of outputting stereo audio signals using the monaural audio signal if the necessary stereo process information is not supplied; a second step of starting updating stereo variables within filters, and outputting the stereo audio signals using the monaural audio signal until all the state variables are updated, if the necessary stereo process information is supplied; and a third step of performing the stereo process based on stereo process information acquired by the necessary stereo process information, on the monaural audio signal to generate and output stereo audio signals, if all the state variables within the filters are updated.
