摘要: Example techniques facilitate calibration of a playback device. An example implementation involves a computing device capturing, via a microphone, data representing multiple iterations of a calibration sound as played by a playback device. The computing device identifies multiple sections within the captured data. Two or more sections represent respective iterations of the calibration sound as played by the playback device. Based on the multiple identified sections, the computing device determines a frequency response of the playback device, the frequency response of the playback device representing audio output by the playback device and acoustic characteristics of an environment around the playback device. Based on the frequency response of the playback device and a target frequency response, the computing device determines one or more parameters of an audio processing algorithm and sends, to the playback device, the one or more parameters of the audio processing algorithm.

Some such methods may involve decomposing each set of renderer-specific loudspeaker feed signals into a Tenderer-specific set of frequency bands and combining the renderer-specific frequency bands of each Tenderer to produce an output set of loudspeaker feed signals. Some such methods may involve outputting the output set of loudspeaker feed signals to a plurality of loudspeakers.

A signal processing device includes: a decoding processing unit that demultiplexes an input bit stream into a first audio signal, meta data of the first audio signal, and first high-frequency band information for expanding a band; a band expanding unit that performs band expansion processing on the basis of a second audio signal and second high-frequency band information and thereby generates an output audio signal, the second audio signal being obtained by performing signal processing on the basis of the first audio signal and the meta data, the second high-frequency band information being generated on the basis of the first high-frequency band information. The present technology can be applied to a smartphone.-

An exemplary encoding method includes inter alia calculating M downmix signals by forming combinations of N audio objects, wherein M≤N, and calculating parameters which allow reconstruction of a set of audio objects formed on basis of the N audio objects from the M downmix signals. The calculation of the M downmix signals is made according to a criterion which is independent of any loudspeaker configuration.

摘要: The various implementations described herein include methods, devices, and systems for automatic audio equalization. In one aspect, a method is performed at an electronic device that includes speakers, microphones, processors and memory. The electronic device outputs audio user content from the speakers and automatically equalizes subsequent audio output of the device without user input. The automatic equalization includes: (1) obtaining audio content signals, including receiving outputted audio content at each microphone; (2) determining from the audio content signals phase differences between microphones; (3) obtaining a feature vector based on the phase differences; (4) obtaining a frequency correction from a correction database based on the obtained feature vector; and (5) applying the obtained frequency correction to the subsequent audio output.
