摘要： In an auto-exchanger disc apparatus, both a disc cartridge for stocking plural discs and a pickup cartridge having a pickup are provided with common recesses, and a cartridge stocking unit is formed with a projection which is engaged with the recesses, whereby the cartridges can be exchanged for each other and mounted on the disc apparatus. Therefore, the extension and maintenance of the cartridges can be facilitated. When a double-side reproducing operation is performed, the pickup cartridge is turned upside down and then mounted on the disc apparatus, whereby the double-side reproduction can be surely performed by the disc inverting mechanism. Further, disc inclining means is provided to prevent a disc being returned from the disc feeder to the disc cartridge from abutting against the disc cartridge. The disc inclining mechanism and the disc inverting means may be integrally constructed by the same member to reduce the cost. Still further, a cleaning member is provided to some or all of the rollers for feeding the disc to perform a disc cleaning operation as well as a disc feeding operation, thereby preventing dust from being attached to the disc.

摘要： A magnetic recording and/or reproducing apparatus is disclosed, comprising a rotary head device, in which a magnetic tape is drawn out of a cassette and brought into contact with the rotary head device or the like. A tape draw-out device doubling as a tape guide forms a predetermined tape path and guides the drive of the magnetic tape after drawing out the magnetic tape. The apparatus further requires a fixed magnetic head and other tape guide mechanism which are movably arranged on the path of the tape draw-out device during the apparatus operation for reducing the size thereof. With the tape loading operation, the fixed magnetic head and the other tape guide are moved by a common drive mechanism and held in position by a common stopper.

A SATA connector having a power supply terminal and signal terminal is fixed to the main printed circuit board. The SATA connector is placed on the board opposite the DSP. Patterns each connecting the power supply terminal to the driver IC and connecting the signal terminal and DSP are formed on the board. The SATA connector and DSP are placed on the driver IC side relative to the central line of the board, the power supply terminal is placed on the driver IC side, and the signal terminal is placed on the DSP side.

At least one of gear units in a gear train constructing a transmission system between a loading motor and a disc moving mechanism is structured such that a driving gear is coupled in an inner diameter side of a large diameter driven gear in such a manner as to be movable in an axial direction and be rotatable integrally with the driven gear, and the driving gear moves and displaces in an axial direction with respect to the driven gear, thereby being canceled the coupling with the driven gear while keeping an engagement with a gear in the next stage, canceling the coupling by an external force by a manual operation so as to set the transmission system to a disconnection state at a time of an emergency eject, making the disc moving mechanism carry out a disc discharge motion by the external force, and discharging an optical disc out of the apparatus.

摘要： In a disc drive for achieving cooling of an electronic part therein, as well as, suppressing transmission of noises generated from a disc clamper, etc., a channel member 18 for introducing an outside air into an inside is disposed between a supporting member 15 and a top-cover 10, within an inside thereof is formed a vortex-like channel, extending from a center to an outer periphery thereof. At the center of the channel member 18 is formed an opening 19 for introducing the outside air into the inside of the disc drive, and on the top-cover 10 are provided plural numbers of openings 20 for taking the outside air into the channel member 18. When an optical disc 6 rotates, pressure generated on an upper surface thereof comes to be negative to the outside air, then the outside air is taken from the openings 20, through the vortex-like channel of the channel member 18 and the opening 19, into the inside of the drive, so as to pass through electronic parts, such as, an optical pickup, etc., thereby cooling them. Noises generated from the disc clamper 17 are attenuated within the vortex-like channel of a long route, which is formed within the channel member 18.

If the result of the interpretation process shows that the received data is PC-FAX data, the image development unit executes a rendering process using a parameter for PC-FAX, which does not depend on the characteristics of the MFP, and further subjects the data, which is obtained by the rendering process, to a conversion process such as a resolution conversion process, thereby converting the data to a facsimile image. The facsimile image is facsimile-transmitted via an interface unit to a public line.
