摘要: In a suction valve in which a suction conduit is connected from a treatment instrument insertion channel through a branch portion so as to open/close this suction conduit, there is no passage between a side face of a valve-portion passage in the valve and a side face of a piston shaft, but only the valve-portion passage and an inner-shaft passage of the piston shaft are used, and their diameters d3 are made larger than a diameter d2 of the suction conduit. Also, the diameter d2 of the suction conduit is made larger than an inner diameter d1 of the treatment instrument insertion channel. As a result, a suction load when a solid substance, a substance with high viscosity or the like is suctioned is reduced, and clogging by the suctioned substances in a passage in the suction valve is prevented.

摘要: An information processing apparatus includes a memory and a control unit. The memory stores a first image. The control unit divides the first image into a plurality of regions. Further, the control unit calculates a likelihood of an existence of a sample in the plurality of regions thus divided for each of the plurality of regions. Further, the control unit generates an existence map based on the calculated likelihood, the existence map having the plurality of regions classified into first regions, second regions, and third regions. Further, the control unit generates imaging sequence information based on the generated existence map, the imaging sequence information indicating imaging sequences such that the first regions are imaged prior to the second regions and a total movement distance of a stage for imaging the first and second regions becomes minimum.

摘要: A congestion/non-congestion determining unit determines whether or not a communications network is in a congestion state. An FEC (forward error correction) packet generator generates error correction packets containing error correction data for correcting error of streaming data contained in transmission packets. When the determination result changes from a non-congestion state to a congestion state, an FEC transmission controller controls the error-correction-packet generation so as to change the number of error correction packets. The present invention is applicable to a remote TV conference system.

摘要: A zoom lens apparatus is provided. In the zoom lens apparatus, rotation of a motor is transmitted to a cam drive gear by reducing a speed thereof by a plurality of reduction gears. The cam drive gear transmits rotation thereof to a zoom cam provided coaxially therewith. A first lens group and a second lens group are moved in an optical axis direction by rotation of the zoom cam to carry out zoom adjusting. An interval between the cam drive gear and the zoom cam is provided with a nontransmitting section in which rotation of the cam drive gear is not transmitted to the zoom cam when a rotational direction of the cam drive gear is switched, by rotation of the cam drive gear in the nontransmitting section, the zoom cam is slid in an axial direction. Thereby, also the first lens group and the second lens group connected and engaged with the zoom cam are moved in the optical axis direction along therewith to adjust a focus.
