摘要: A coupling portion is approximately U-shaped with two side plates extending up from a bottom plate. Front and rear ends of the bottom plate are respectively joined to a bottom wall of a box and a mounting plate of a crimping portion. Front and rear ends of the side plates are respectively joined to side walls of the box and crimping pieces of the crimping portion. In the crimping portion, an electric wire is crimped by wrapping the first crimping pieces around a terminal portion of the electric wire mounted on a mounting plate while deforming and bending them. In respective end edges of the side plates in an upward extending direction, reinforcing portions are formed continuously extending from respective front ends that are joined to the side walls to rear ends that are joined to the crimping pieces and having regions that are bent inward.

摘要: A connector has first and second housings (10, 30) that are connectable with each other. The second housing (30) has second terminal fittings (32), second detecting terminals (39) and short canceling members (37). The first housing (10) has shorting terminals (12) for shorting pairs of the first terminal fittings, a resilient arm (18) that deforms as the housings (10, 30) are connected, and first detecting terminals (11) that deform as the resilient arm (18) is deformed to touch the second detecting terminals (39) for detecting the connected state. The resilient arm (18) is held deformed and the first detecting terminals (11) are held in contact with the second detecting terminals (39) until a connecting operation is completed. The resilient arm (18) resiliently restores to separate the first detecting terminals (11) from the second detecting terminals (32) when the connection is completed.

摘要: To prevent an electric wire cover from being attached upside down, ribs 16 and 24 are formed respectively on the outer peripheral upper face of a housing 10 and the inner peripheral lower face of an electric wire cover 20. Two wire distribution spaces 36U and 36L are provided between the housing 10 and the electric wire cover 20, extending along the upper and lower faces of the housing 10. When the electric wire cover 20 is correctly attached, the ribs 16 and 24 of the housing 10 and the electric wire cover 20 do not interfere with one another. However, when the electric wire cover 20 is upside down, the ribs 16 and 24 interfere with one another, thereby preventing the attachment of the electric wire cover 20.

摘要: An improved plate connector avoids misalignment during attachment to a plate. During attachment of a retainer 30 to a housing 10, a plate attachment member 23A is guided by a guiding face 37A and is inserted into a position fixing hole 36A. Misalignment of the plate attachment member 23A after assembly with the retainer 30 is avoided. The plate attachment member 23A fits into an attachment hole H of a plate P smoothly, and damage to the plate attachment member 23A is prevented.

摘要: A sealing assembly for sealing two surfaces of two elements by a seal member between the two surfaces, wherein the two elements are pressed against each other by a coupling means acting between them and applying a bending moment to at least one of the two elements such that the corresponding surfaces are deformed, the seal member being of varying thicknesses over its length to compensate for the deformation. In an alternative aspect of the Invention, at least one of the two elements is shaped to achieve the compensation so that the sealing force is uniform. Thus, a reduction in the waterproofing function of the sealing assembly, which normally results from the deflection of the housing is prevented.
