Abstract: A clip comprises a grommet and a pin, and the grommet has a flange and leg pieces. The flange has a pair of right and left flange bodies, bridges for joining the flange bodies, and an opening portion formed at the center portion thereof. Peripheral walls of the opening portion are formed by the respective end faces of the flange bodies and the bridges, and the right and left peripheral walls formed by the end faces of the flange bodies and the front and rear peripheral walls formed by the end faces of the bridges are offset in a thickness direction, thereby establishing a positional relationship in which the right and left peripheral walls and the front and rear peripheral walls do not intersect to each other.

Abstract: Provided is a float valve device which allows a valve to be quickly opened when, in a state in which a float has been raised as a result of a rise in fuel liquid level to close the valve, the fuel liquid level is lowered again. The float valve device includes a housing, a float accommodated in the housing, a movable valve adapted to abut a valve seat to close an opening, and a retention frame to retain the movable valve so as to allow the movable valve to ascend/descend by a predetermined distance and to incline with respect to the float. Further, a circumferentially uneven protrusion is formed on a portion where the retention frame and the movable valve abut each other. When the float is lowered in a valve-closed state, the protrusion first abuts the movable valve to impart a lowering force thereto.

Abstract: Provided is a clip which can be easily detached from a mounting hole solely by pulling a base portion thereof in any one direction. A clip (10) is equipped with a base portion (20) to engage with a front-side peripheral edge of a mounting hole (5), and a locking leg (30) to engage with a back-side peripheral edge of the mounting hole (5). The locking leg (30) has a stem portion (40) and a pair of elastic engagement members (50) extending in an anchor-fluke-like fashion from the forward ends of the stem portion (40) and having at their forward ends engagement portions (51) to engage with the back-side peripheral edge of the mounting hole (5). An axis (C) of the stem portion (30) and a line (L) connecting the centers of the engagement portions (51) of the pair of elastic engagement members (50) are offset from each other as seen in an axial direction of the stem portion (40). When the base portion (20) is pulled strongly, the stem portion (40) gradually leaves the mounting hole (5) while warped in an arch, with the elastic engagement members (50) and the stem portion (40) opening in a V-shape, thus making it possible to detach the clip (10) from the mounting hole (5) relatively easily.
