摘要: This invention relates to an air valve which includes a deflector positioned inside a float chamber in order to improve the flow of air through the air valve. Further, the air valve includes an upper opening leading from the float chamber and having a transverse cross-section which increases away from the float chamber in order to smooth air flow. The invention further relates to an air valve accessory whereby an air valve can be modified in order to improve air flow therethrough.

摘要: An air removal assembly can include an air valve mountable on a fluid system; and a throttling device in fluid communication with the air valve, the throttle device further in fluid communication with the fluid system through the air valve when the air valve is mounted on the fluid system, the throttling device including: a body having an inner and outer surface, the inner surface defining a body cavity, the inner and outer surfaces defining a plurality of body orifices in fluid communication through the body cavity; a throttle movably positioned within the body cavity proximate to a first orifice of the plurality of orifices, the throttle movable to a closed position closing the first orifice and to an open position opening a fluid pathway between the first orifice and the body cavity; and a biasing element biasing the throttle to a partially-open position between the closed and open positions.

摘要: A vent apparatus is described for providing filtered air intake and rollover protection for a fuel tank. The apparatus may include a housing configured to be coupled with the fuel tank, the housing including at least one air intake port and at least one air exhaust port. The apparatus may include an air intake filter disposed within the housing and configured to receive and filter air from the at least one air intake port. The apparatus may include a rollover protection valve disposed adjacent to the housing and configured to be located inside the fuel tank when the housing is coupled with the fuel tank, the rollover protection valve coupled with the at least one air exhaust port. The rollover protection valve may include a chamber and a plug configured to impede the flow of fuel from the fuel tank into the at least one air exhaust port.

摘要: A tube extends through an attachment section and defines a vapor passageway. A housing is supported to the attachment section for movement between several positions relative to the attachment section. The housing defines a float chamber below the tube. A valve seat portion is located within the float chamber and has an engagement part, a sleeve part and a seat surface. The engagement part is connected to the housing. The sleeve part telescopically engages the tube and is movable along the tube with the housing. The valve seat portion defines a central bore open to the vapor passageway and the seat surface. The float moves within the float chamber. When to fluid enters the float chamber the float floats up against the seat surface closing off the central bore and the vapor passageway. In the absence of fluid the float moves downward exposing the seat surface.

摘要: A ventilation valve (100) for ventilation of a tank (not shown) containing a liquid where the liquid surface fluctuates over time at the same time as the ventilation valve (100) obstructs external liquid to enter into the tank through the ventilation valve, is described. The ventilation valve (100) comprises a structural main housing (1, 2) containing a valve unit (3, 4, 5) and respective ventilation channels (6, 7, 9, 10, 13, 14, 16) providing open communication between the tank and the atmosphere, and the valve unit includes a movable float body (4) obstructing liquid ingress into the tank through said ventilation valve (100). The valve unit is in the form of a replaceable valve module which includes the float body (4) which is received in a valve housing (3). The structural main housing (1, 2) includes a socket part (2) and one from the socket part (2) releasable cover part (1) in order to provide access to the replaceable valve module (3, 4, 5).

摘要: A valve device for a fuel tank has a housing having a valve chamber which is provided below a partition wall and a ventilation chamber which is provided above the partition wall; a recess having a first opening formed in the bottom section thereof and defining a part of the ventilation chamber; and a fuel vapor discharge opening formed in the inner periphery of the recess. The partition wall has a shelf-like wall section extending from the peripheral edge of a second opening and reaching the inner periphery of the recess. The shelf-like wall section has formed therein a first groove section extending from the second opening side and connecting to the recess. A ceiling wall is disposed above the shelf-like wall section with a gap therebetween.

摘要: Auxiliary flow prevention mechanism for preventing leakage from the outlet of an air valve due to a seal malfunction of a primary stopper disposed in a primary conduit of a piping system. The mechanism includes an auxiliary conduit coupled downstream of the primary conduit. The mechanism further includes an auxiliary stopper housed within the auxiliary conduit. The auxiliary stopper is configured to seal an outlet of the auxiliary conduit when the primary stopper is in a sealing position but fails to prevent fluid outflow from an outlet of the primary conduit, whereby after sufficient fluid fills the air valve, the resultant increased fluid level urges the auxiliary stopper into a sealing position to seal an outlet of the auxiliary conduit, preventing fluid outflow therefrom. A visual indication of the seal malfunction is provided by a valve or pressure sensor that detects the presence of fluid in a downstream conduit section.
