摘要： An apparatus for supplying food and water to animals having a feeding component with an upper reservoir for receiving food therein, a watering component with a lower reservoir for receiving water therein and a water control system having a fluid level regulator to maintain the level of water in the lower reservoir. The upper reservoir is removably supported above the lower reservoir by a support mechanism interconnecting the feeding and watering components. In one configuration, the support mechanism is a post attached to the bottom of the upper reservoir sized and configured to be received in a post connector at the bottom of the lower reservoir. The fluid level regulator can comprise a float level system having a fluid valve connected to float by an actuating arm. A hose can be connected to a connector at an inlet on one of the lower reservoir's sidewalls.

摘要： An automatic watering device for use with a stationary water reservoir includes an elongated hollow housing fixedly positioned relative to the reservoir, an elongated pipe having a first end extending into the housing and an opposite second end connected to a source of water, and a water control valve disposed within the housing and connected to the first end of the pipe. The water control valve is adjustably positionable within the housing to correspondingly set a desired water level within the reservoir. The automatic watering device of the present invention is particularly useful for maintaining a supply of water in an animal watering trough since the water control valve is protected from abuse at all times by the protective housing.

摘要： The invention herein described allows for an operator to fill a hopper with an animal food. The hopper contains an inclined chute that will funnel the food to a food trough platform and in turn to an extension member. The food on the platform is protected from the elements via an encasement as well as the swinging door. The animal may pivot the door open in order to reach the food. The hopper is disposed within a basin filled with a fluid such as water. The hopper will be surrounded by the fluid on all four sides. The food trough platform is raised above the water body in a moat like fashion. The fluid level within the basin is controlled via a water feeder control valve member so that a fresh water supply is automatically controlled within the basin. The water also serves to keep insects from the food. Therefore, an animal is allowed a fresh food and water supply for an extended amount of time.

摘要： An improved watering dish is provided for use with dogs and other animals. The watering dish is self-cleaning, and is provided with a float-activated valve that automatically replenishes the water supply in the drinking reservoir as that supply is depleted. The float is constructed so that it will not flip or otherwise become fouled, even if the watering dish is overturned. The valve is constructed so that it may be shipped as a separate element, but readily snaps into position in the watering dish during assembly and is thereafter essentially permanently fixed into place in an orientation conducive to the optimal performance of the device. The watering dish is also provided with fastening elements that permit it to be affixed to both vertical and horizontal substrates. The fastening means also allow the device to be attached to both hard and soft surfaces.

摘要： A non-chattering, float-controlled, pilot-operated diaphragm valve for controlling the flow of liquids from a conduit under pressure to a tank where the surface is in turbulent condition. The lightweight float and pilot valve follow the relatively high frequency fluctuations of level and the diaphragm valve responds causing a rapid opening and closing of the main flow through the conduit into the tank. The chattering is eliminated by the insertion of operative means between the float closure means and the movable diaphragm. A small diameter rod of selected length is positioned between the diaphragm and the closure means so that when the main flow through the conduit starts, the movement of the diaphragm away from the conduit forces the pilot valve to open and submerge the float to a considerable depth. While the float rises, the pilot valve remains open permitting the main flow to continue, and raising the level in the tank a substantial amount so that there is a continuing pressure on the float to maintain a closed pilot. This prevent the immediate reopening of the conduit and therefore, removes the rapid chattering action.

摘要： There is disclosed a system for dispensing feed and water for livestock which includes a container arranged to receive the feed and water and is adapted to permit access to the feed and the water by the livestock for consumption. The system further includes a feed delivery means for dispensing feed into the container and water dispensing means for dispensing water into the container means. The water dispensing means includes a delivery portion extending into the container which houses a water level sensor. A control means is arranged to actuate the feed delivery means to dispense a controlled amount of feed into the container and is also arranged to actuate the water dispensing means to dispense water into the container through the delivery portion after actuation of the feed delivery means. The water level sensor within the delivery portion disables the water dispensing means after a predetermined level of water within the container is reached and the delivery portion is arranged within the container for washing residual feed within the container from the delivery portion to thereby preclude interference or clogging of the delivery portion and the water level sensor by the residual feed.
