摘要: A leash training device embodying a non-invasive and non-threatening method of using the same to train a dog is provided. The leash training device may include a liquid sprayer having a housing forming a handle portion and a leash assembly. While grasping the handle portion so as to manage the dog on the other end of the leash assembly, the liquid sprayer is adapted so that the user may discharge a jet of liquid from a reservoir secured within the housing. The method includes discharging the jet at or on the dog engaged in bad behavior.

摘要: The insect water supply system is configured to prevent the insects (such as crickets) from self-contaminating the water supplied to the insects' rearing enclosure. The system is designed so that the insects drink in an inverted (i.e. upside down) and elevated position—consequently the insects' feces fall downward toward the ground and away from their water source—and therefore do not contaminate the insects' water supply.

摘要: A disposable animal cage which can be used in a ventilated or static caging rack system includes a cage top and a cage base. Any corner or edge present in the interior of the cage base or the cage top that is accessible to an animal that can be contained in the cage is defined by surfaces having a conical section which is non-circular to prevent gnawing of the cage. The cage top can include a water housing mount pocket. The water housing mount pocket can have a conical shape to prevent an animal from gnawing the water housing mount pocket and a container received in the water housing mount pocket. A feed tray can be attached beneath a filter in a ceiling of the cage top to prevent an animal from gnawing the filter.

摘要: A pet drinking fountain assembly having a pump forming part of a fountain mounting arrangement that includes a lift tube coupling a cover to the pump coupled to a lower basin by a mount. The mount and lift tube attenuate pump noise and vibration by providing isolation from the basin and cover and can function as dampeners. In a preferred embodiment the pump is part of a pump module that includes a module housing to which the pump is attached by another noise-attenuating mount. Each mount is formed by one or more suction cups with the cups and lift tube made of vibration dampening material, such as a resilient vibration dampening or isolating material that can be an elastomeric material. The module includes a lift tube coupling discharge that registers in fluid flow communication with a pump outlet and can include a ring or bushing therebetween providing additional noise attenuation.
