摘要： A slide fastener stringer comprises a stringer tape including thermoplastic synthetic fibers and a row of continuous fastener elements made of thermoplastic synthetic resin and fixed by sewing threads to one longitudinal edge of the tape, the elements being reinforced by a braid extending along the element row. The slide fastener stringer has a cut edge where the tape, extreme one of the fastener elements, sewing threads, and braid are united together by fusing the tape and the extreme fastener elements against reveling of the cut ends of the tape, sewing threads, and braid, and against sticking up of the element from the tape. The cut edge has a substantially flat surface slanted with respect to the plane of the stringer tape, thereby giving the cut edge a neat and smooth appearance with no burrs thereon.

摘要： A slide fastener stringer is disclosed which has a fastener element in the form of a helical coil having a row of successive loops woven into a longitudinal edge of a stringer tape simultaneously as the tape is woven. The fastener element is held stably in position by a stuffing cord which is anchored therein by weave threads. A guide cord is arranged such that it may be deformed under tension applied by a binding thread to provide slider guide surfaces.

摘要： A slide fastener stringer is disclosed, while has a woven tape carrying a row of coupling loops which is likewise woven, instead of being stitched, into an edge of the tape. The row of loops is secured by a plurality of binding warp threads extending longitudinally of the tape and overlying the upper portion of each of successively interconnected loops. A binding weft thread, separate from the tape foundations weft, is interlaced with the binding warp threads in a plane defined commonly by the successive upper portions of the loops and interwoven with the foundation weft thread interiorly of a heel portion of the loop, thereby securing the loops firmly to the tape without any such thread behind the heel of the loop which would otherwise interfere with the movement of a slider.

摘要： A slide fastener stringer includes a stringer tape and a series of fastener elements sewn to the tape by means of stitches with upper and lower legs of the elements lying one on each side of the tape. The sewing stitches include a needle thread extending across and over the lower element legs and a looper thread having loops extending through the tape and between adjacent elements, and interlooped with the needle thread at the side of the tape on which the lower element legs are disposed. The looper thread further includes loops extending over the upper element legs and interlaced with the first-named loops of the looper thread at the other side of the tape.

摘要： A slide fastener stringer comprises a stringer tape and a row of continuous meandering fastener elements fixed by sewing threads to one longitudinal edge of the tape, the elements being reinforced by a braid mounted on and extending along the element row. The slide fastener stringer has a cut edge where the tape, extreme one of the fastener elements, sewing threads, and braid, all including thermoplastic synthetic resin material, are fused together against raveling of the cut ends of the tape, sewing threads, and braid, and against sticking up of the element from the tape. The extreme fastener element has a pair of upper and lower legs one on each side of the tape, the legs being wrapped jointly by the sewing threads and stringer tape that are fused together and with the upper and lower legs. The braid is fused with portions of the sewing threads and stringer tape which extend beyond and around the extreme fastener element.

摘要： A slide-fastener stringer half comprises a knit tape having a plurality of parallel longitudinally extending wales and a plurality of transversely extending courses, and a monofilamentary coupling element on the tape and having a succession of turns each having a pair of shanks and a coupling head joining the shanks and projecting transversely beyond the longitudinal edge of the tape. The shanks of each turn lie at least in regions adjacent the respective head in a plane generally perpendicular to the tape. The tape comprises at least one warp yarn forming a chain knitted into the tape at every other course and overlying the shanks at the regions adjacent the heads. Thus the shanks are laid into the chains at these regions so that the coupling element is thoroughly integrated into the knit of the tape. The tape itself may be formed of a full-tricot ground. Alternatively the tape can be formed of second weft yarns having open loops at each course and extending transversely each over two respective wales.

摘要： A preformed multiturn coupling element of the helical-coil or meander type is juxtaposed with a tape and a loop is formed by a stitching thread whose needle is thrust upwardly between each pair of turns. A gripper engages the loop and draws it laterally out of the coupling element to reintroduce it between another pair of turns where it is engaged by another loop thrust through the tape. In one embodiment the thread passes through the tape and an overlying filler cord, its loops being drawn half-way around that cord and being interlinked at points between the cord and the tape.
