摘要： There is provided a slide fastener and a method for manufacturing a slide fastener. A slide fastener is provided with: a pair of fastener tapes; a pair of fastener element rows provided respectively on the opposing tape-side edges of the pair of fastener tapes and having a plurality of fastener elements; and a slider configured to engage and disengage the pair of fastener element rows with and from each other. Each of the fastener element rows is composed of a monofilament which is made of synthetic resin. The monofilament has, on the surface thereof, a surface layer which can be colored with dyes. A roughened surface having a number of concaves is formed on the surfaces of the surface layer.

摘要： A double sided nylon sandwich mesh fabric zipper and slider assembly includes coil strips being left handed and right handed plastic coils each having a center cord and a series of interlocking teeth, each tooth having a tooth head and a tooth body so configured that the tooth heads are respectively interlockable with the tooth heads of the teeth of the coil strips at the other zipper tape. The slider has C-shaped guide grooves to guide locking and unlocking positions horizontal movement of the teeth of the upper and lower coil strips, and a balance guide block configured to match with the configuration of the tooth heads, facilitating accurate alignment between the left and right teeth of the upper and lower coil strips and assuring smooth engagement and disengagement of the interlocking teeth.

摘要： A stretchable fastener stringer for a slide fastener includes a fastener tape having a tape main portion and an element attaching portion and a continuous fastener element which is attached to the element attaching portion. The fastener tape has stretchability due to an elastic yarn being combined by weaving or knitting and the fastener element includes a coupling head, upper and lower leg portions which are extended from the coupling head and a connecting portion which connects the upper and lower leg portions, therebetween of adjacent fastener elements. In this fastener stringer, a value of a bulging ratio which is the ratio between a dimension of the coupling head in the tape longitudinal direction and a dimension of the upper and lower leg portions in the tape longitudinal direction is set to be larger than 1.80 and not larger than 2.33.

摘要： An abrasion resistant slide fastener includes a coupling element attached to a support tape by stitching looper and needle threads to secure the coupling element and a filler cord, extending through the coupling element, to a support tape. The looper thread has an upper portion which engages an upper shank of the coupling element and a lower portion which engages the needle thread within the filler cord. The needle thread is stitched at a greater tension than the looper thread and secures the looper thread, the coupling element and the filler cord to the support tape. The upper portion of the looper thread, engaging the upper shank, is heated until it melts from the upper shank of the coupling element, thus eliminating the looper thread exposed to wear and forming anchor portions which engage the filler cord. The needle thread and the lower portion of the looper thread are not directly exposed to the heat source and remain substantially intact within the filler cord. The anchor portions are drawn toward the interior of the filler cord due to the greater tensioning of the needle thread, which secures the coupling element to the support tape and produces an abrasion resistant slide fastener.

摘要： A separable slide fastener comprises a pair of stringer tapes each carrying on its inner longitudinal margins a row of coiled filamentary coupling elements sewn to the respective inner tape margin with a core thread extending through each of the coiled coupling element rows, and a separable bottom-end-stop assembly mounted adjacent to the bottom ends of the opposed tapes. The bottom-end-stop assembly includes a pair of separate pin members attached by clinching to the respective inner tape margins at bottom end portions thereof, which portions are devoid of coupling elements, and a socket member secured to one of the pin members and having a bore for receiving a portion of the other pin member. Each of the other pin member has a longitudinal channel receiving the element-free bottom end portion of the respective inner tape-margin. Before attachment of the pin members, the bottom end portion of each inner tape-margin is trimmed or shaped along its inner edge that projects inwardly from the core thread. Thus the inner tape-margin's bottom end portion has a width equal to the width of the channel of the respective pin member and smaller than the width of the remaining portion of the inner tape-margin.
