摘要： A waterproof fastener chain includes: a pair of fastener tapes made of polyester resin adjacent to each other at a given space between each side edge thereof, rows of elements respectively attached onto a main surface of the side edge of each of the fastener tapes, and waterproof coated films made of polyester resin respectively formed on a main surface of each of the fastener tapes. An outer surface of each of the waterproof coated films is flat at least at a position where a slider is to pass over, each of the waterproof coated films penetrates into irregularities on the main surface of each of the fastener tapes, a penetration depth of the waterproof coated films into a gap caused by the space of the pair of fastener tapes is not more than thickness of the fastener tapes.

A substrate tape includes a first main side having a rough surface structure perceptible to the eye and/or the touch and a second main side opposite to the first main side. A gripping member is affixed to a longitudinal edge of the first main side of the substrate tape. A cover sheet is made of an artificial flexible material and has a 5 top surface provided with a predetermined design and a bottom layer made of a thermoformable material having a predetermined thickness. The bottom layer is attached to the second main side of the substrate tape such that the surface structure of the second main side of the substrate tape is not perceivable through the cover sheet.

摘要： There is provided a slide fastener. Each of a pair of fastener element rows is a coil-shaped fastener element row made of synthetic resin. Each of fastener elements includes an engaging head section, a first leg section and a second leg section. The first and second leg sections protrude from the engaging head section and extend parallel to each other. The first leg section comes in contact with the corresponding fastener tape and the second leg section does not come in contact with the corresponding fastener tape. The first leg section is colored in a color different from those of the fastener tapes and the second leg section. The color of the first leg section is visible through a gap between the pair of fastener tapes.

摘要： A liquid-tight slide fastener, wherein a pair of right and left coil-like coupling element rows, through which a core thread is respectively passed, is attached by sewing along opposing side edges of a pair of right and left fastener tapes, the fastener tapes having a liquid-tight layer on one surface thereof, and the core thread is coated with a water repellent agent or oil repellent agent. Consequently, even if water or oil invades into a space portion in the coupling element rows through a joint portion in the liquid-tight slide fastener, the core thread repels the water or oil, thereby blocking a further invasion of water or oil, and exerting excellent water repellency or oil repellency without provision of a water stop flap.

With this arrangement, when excessive lateral pulling force is applied to the slide fastener, cleavage lateral pulling force that causes cleavage of the slide fastener can be reduced. By adjusting tensile rupture strength of the elements, cleavage lateral pulling force of the slide fastener can be set within a predetermined range.

摘要： Fastener elements are attached to a side edge of a fastener tape composed of a knitting structure. An interval between the elements and a wale in the vicinity of the elements is formed into a thin knitted fabric. A flange on a side of a rear mouth of a slider is disposed on the thin knitted fabric and the slider is slid based on this section. For this purpose, an outer side of a bottom end face of the flange is cut out to provide with a notch portion, so that this portion is formed with a small width. Consequently, the thin knitted fabric is slid and introduced securely, and making a pressure contact with a surface of the wale is prevented. Even if a fastener is mounted on trousers and its fabric is pulled in a lateral direction forcibly to open, the elements are prevented from biting into a tape guide groove and escaping.
