    摘要: The present invention provides an alignment device of cutting machine, which includes: a stand and a ball transfer unit mounted on the stand. The ball transfer unit includes a main body, a first rotating body, and a plurality of second rotating bodies arranged between the main body and the first rotating body. The main body has an end forming a receiving chamber and thus forming a receiving chamber sidewall. The second rotating bodies are rotatably arranged on the receiving chamber sidewall. The main body forms an air entrance passage in communication with the receiving chamber. The receiving chamber sidewall extends out to form a bearing section corresponding to the air entrance passage. The bearing section has a side surface in which air outlet ports are formed. The main body has an opposite end forming a connection section that is mateable and coupleable to the stand. The present invention uses a ball transfer unit to replace the float pad made of porous carbon fiber material for aligning a glass substrate in order to achieve the purposes of lowering down cost.

    摘要: A method of disposing a bar of rectangular cross-section includes firstly placing the bar on a first substantially cylindrical surface which is connected to a second cylindrical surface along a common generatrix. Two tangential planes along the generatrix form a dihedral angle, preferably 145.degree.. The first surface is then tilted to cause the bar to slide toward the common generatrix until it abuts against the apex of the dihedral angle. The tilt is increased until the bar either slides or tips onto the second surface. Thereafter, the bar, which rests on the second surface on one of its wider sides, is collected. An apparatus for carrying out the method includes at least two substantially cylindrical surfaces connected along a common generatrix. Two tangential planes along the generatrix form a dihedral angle, preferably 145.degree.. The cylindrical surfaces are formed on the edges of at least two rotatable members of cruciform shape.

    摘要: A billet turner which is especially adapted for use between sections of a furnace charging table. The billet turner is designed to turn a billet of square cross-section about its longitudinal axis, in 90.degree. increments, and in either direction, for the purpose of obtaining a desired camber direction of the billet or to expose identification marks on the billet. Provision is made for driving the billet through the turner on and by independently driven rolls. The billet turner mechanism is mounted on a frame which may be raised or lowered in relation to a stationary supporting base. The billet turner includes a mechanism for lifting the billet from the driving rolls, prior to turning of the billet.
