摘要： Methods and apparatuses for an intelligent shaving system is disclosed herein. An example intelligent shaving system includes a handle, at least one blade connected to the handle, a microcontroller attached to the handle, a wireless communication unit configured to send and receive data from microcontroller to an external device, a memory configured to store data applicable to the at least one blade, and one or more sensors configured to send sensory data from the one or more sensors to microcontroller. The one of the one or more sensors is a proximity sensor or a camera having image sensor configured to capture video and/or still images. The shaving system assists in determining blade attrition and provides indicators to assist in shaving techniques. The shaving system further may include at least one blade slightly curved to follow a tangent of the skin. The at least one blade may have a nanolattice structure.

The optical blade (1), especially for use in a hair cutting device, comprises a blade body (3) adapted for guiding optical radiation, and a tapered end (2) adapted for allowing the optical radiation to exit the optical blade (1), wherein the tapered end (2) comprises a reflector adapted for redirecting the optical radiation before it exits the optical blade. In this way the balance of closeness vs. irritation is improved beyond the capabilities of conventional shaving systems and an optical blade is provided which is insensitive to the type of shaving additive used, while the manufacturing of the optical blade is made easier and costs are reduced.

摘要： The travel shaver kit includes a handle having a proximal end and a distal end. A blade housing is pivotably attached to the distal end of the handle. The blade housing is able to be pivotably positionable either in a first position wherein the handle and blade housing are aligned, or in a second position wherein the handle and blade housing are perpendicular. A ceramic blade has a base disposed within the blade housing. The ceramic blade extends outwardly from the blade housing to expose a cutting edge suitable for shaving. The blade housing extends through at least a portion of the base to non-removably lock the ceramic blade therein, whereby twisting or bending the blade housing, without breaking it, results in destruction of the cutting edge. The ceramic blade may include an aperture where the blade housing extends through the blade aperture to non-removably lock the ceramic blade therein.
