摘要: A turbomachine blade includes a blading made of composite material with a fibrous reinforcement densified by a matrix and a metal leading edge formed by a metal foil, the foil having an intrados fin and an extrados fin which extend respectively over intrados and extrados faces of the blading by conforming to an airfoil of the blade, wherein the blade also includes at least one unidirectional fabric ply made of composite material on the leading edge between the blading and the metal foil, each unidirectional fabric ply extending at least partially over the intrados and extrados faces of the blading.

摘要: A composite of metal and carbon-fiber-reinforced plastic according to the present invention comprising a predetermined metal member, a resin layer positioned at a surface of at least part of the metal member and containing an inorganic filler having a thermal conductivity of 20 W/(m·K) or more, and carbon fiber reinforced plastic positioned on the resin layer and containing a predetermined matrix resin and carbon reinforcing fiber present in the matrix resin, the carbon reinforcing fiber being at least one of pitch-based carbon reinforcing fiber having a thermal conductivity of 180 to 900 W/(m·K) in range or PAN-based carbon reinforcing fiber having a thermal conductivity of 100 to 200 W/(m·K) in range, a content of the inorganic filler in the resin layer being 10 to 45 vol % in range with respect to a total volume of the resin layer, a number density of the inorganic filler present in a region of a width X μm from an interface of the resin layer and the carbon fiber reinforced plastic in a direction of the resin layer being 300/mm2 or more, where X μm is an average particle size of the inorganic filler.

摘要: Provided are a composite structure that is formed by joining a metal member and a molded article of a polyarylene sulfide resin composition and is more excellent in terms of joint strength and heat cycle resistance and a producing method therefor. More specifically, provided are a composite structure formed by joining a surface-roughened metal member and a PPS member, in which a number average value of developed area ratios (Sdr) of an interface measured at five random points on a surface of the surface-roughened metal member using a confocal microscope based on ISO 25178 is 5 [%] or more, and a melt viscosity of a PPS resin is 15 to 500 [Pa·s], and a producing method therefor.

摘要: A method of manufacturing a fluid control device includes extruding a polymer melt into a chamber defined by an outer surface of a support structure and a disintegrable metallic tubular member disposed at the support structure, the polymer melt comprising a high heat polymer and a foaming agent, the high heat polymer having a heat deflection temperature of about 100° C. to about 300° C. measured at 1.82 MPa in accordance with ASTM D648-18; sealing the chamber; and foaming the high heat polymer to produce a porous filtration medium in a compacted shape.

摘要: A method of and fixture for molding a product with an embedded ring. A system for molding a ring into a product including a rotational molding mold with an opening formed in the rotational molding mold sized to fit a ring. A fixture is removably couplable to the ring, wherein the ring and the fixture when coupled are removably couplable in the opening. The fixture is removed from the ring after the ring is molded into a product. A method of manufacturing a product with an embedded ring includes: coupling a ring to a fixture; clamping the fixture and the ring in an opening in a mold top; clamping the mold top to a mold bottom; rotomolding a product; unclamping the fixture from the mold top; uncoupling the fixture from the ring; unclamping the mold top and the mold bottom; and removing the product from the mold.

摘要: A fastening inclusion is provided and includes a hard point made of coalesced metal sheets, metal or fiber flanges extending from edges of the hard point, and a fastener arranged on the hard point. The fastening inclusion can be incorporated into a fiber reinforced polymer structure by interleaving the flanges with fiber reinforced resin plies, and then curing the fiber reinforced plies to form a composite structure. The fastener on the hard point may be used for mechanically connecting the composite structure to a separate component, such as a metal component on a vehicle.
