摘要： A perfector includes: a printing unit that performs printing simultaneously on both surfaces of a paper sheet; detecting means for detecting printing conditions on both surfaces of the paper sheet; and transporting means for transporting the paper sheet to a delivery unit. The printing unit includes: a blanket impression cylinder that holds and transports the paper sheet; and a blanket cylinder in contact with the blanket impression cylinder. The transporting means includes: a transfer cylinder in contact with the blanket impression cylinder and receives the paper sheet from the blanket impression cylinder; and a delivery cylinder in contact with the transfer cylinder and receives the paper sheet from the transfer cylinder. The detecting means includes: a first checking camera that detects the printing condition on one surface of the paper sheet; and a second checking camera that detects the printing condition on the other surface of the paper sheet.

摘要： A cleaning device for cleaning an outer cylindrical surface of an impression cylinder of a rotary printing machine includes a cleaning cloth pressed against the outer cylindrical surface by a beam. The beam is pivotally mounted to engage the cleaning cloth with the outer cylindrical surface upon pressurization of a pneumatic cylinder. A spring pivotally returns the beam to disengage the cleaning cloth with the outer cylindrical surface upon depressurization of the pneumatic cylinder. To assure radial clearance between the cleaning device and the gripper fingers of the impression cylinder, the pneumatic cylinder is depressurized at a first angular position of the impression cylinder and the pneumatic cylinder is subsequently pressurized at a second angular position of the impression cylinder. The first and second angular positions of the impression cylinder correspond respectively to the cleaning device nearing the vicinity of the gripper fingers and the cleaning device leaving the vicinity of the gripper fingers. The cleaning device includes a cam roller that engages a cam plate attached to the impression cylinder to control the engagement of the cleaning device with the outer cylindrical surface upon the pressurization of the pneumatic cylinder.

This is achieved by applying a predetermined coating of alkaline cleaning agent to the printing cylinder surface by a cleaning roller and allowing the cleaning agent to act on the surface for a defined time, preferably greater than sixty minutes, and then subsequently removing the cleaning agent from the printing cylinder surface by means of a cleaning fluid, such as water.

The elastic profile rail receives a plurality of forces from spring elements. The elastic profile rail and the spring elements allow a uniform cleaning of the outer cylindrical surface despite the presence of uneven or rough portions of the outer cylindrical surface that might be encountered by the cleaning device during cleaning.

摘要： An apparatus for cleaning printing cylinder comprising a cleaning head 3 is disposed in parallel to the printing cylinder so as to be attachable and dettachable to the overall width thereof, and the cleaning is carried out by pressing said cleaning head 3 against the printing cylinder 1. The cleaning head 3 comprises a cleaning case 9 having a suction port 8 at the upper part thereof and a wind chest 10. The interior of the cleaning case 9 is partitioned into the front 11, the rear 12, and the middle part 13 with respect to the direction of the rotation of the printing cylinder 1, with the front 11 and the rear 12 being, respectively, fitted with cleaning members 14, 15 and the middle part 13 being fitted with a lip 16 composed of an elastomeric material. Between the lip 16 and the front 11 and beneath the rear 12 there are formed slits 17, 18 which have suitable gaps, and both of them communicate with the wind chest 10. The cleaning is carried out by supplying the cleaning liquid from the supply port 19 to the cleaning members 14, 15. The air carrying the waste cleaning liquid is collected in the wind chest 10 through the slits 17, 18 and sucked by a vacuum apparatus.

摘要： An improved apparatus and method for cleaning one or more of the rollers used in printing presses. Typically, the printing press features manual or automated devices for supplying cleaning solvent to the press during a washing operation. A blade assembly is pivotally disposed for engagement with the press roller. The blade assembly features a blade unit for scraping solid and liquid debris from the roller, and a receptacle trough for collecting used solvent as well as solid and liquid debris. In the improvement, a sheathing system is provided to supply protective sheath material to cover the blade assembly to keep the blade assembly clean during the washing operation. The sheath material preferably has a low coefficient of friction to prevent wearing of the components and is relatively thin to maintain the blade geometry for effective cleaning of the roller. An absorbent lining is disposed in the receptacle trough to absorb the used ink and solvent and to protect the trough from soiling during the washing operation. The sheathing system is automatically actuated either upon the pivoting engagement of the blade assembly with the press roller or when the blade assembly is pivoted away from the press roller.
