摘要： The invention concerns a transport device for dangerous goods containers and a process for securing dangerous goods containers inside a transport container. The transport device comprises an ISO container and a system for securing the dangerous goods containers within it. According to the invention, the system comprises: a first set of moulded units (10) which lie adjacent to one another and form a first receiving surface which completely occupies the floor of the container and has openings (12) into each of which the bottom section of a dangerous goods container (2) fits precisely; and a second set of moulded units (20) with openings (21) into each of which the top section of a dangerous goods container fits precisely and so designed that, when fitted adjacent to one another on the dangerous goods containers on the first receiving surface, they form a second receiving surface which completely occupies an intermediate level of the container parallel to the floor.

摘要： A coil rack for preventing the rolling of circularly-shaped payloads on a flatbed trailer. The coil rack has a base that can be releasably secured to the flatbed trailer. A stop surface extends upwardly and perpendicularly from the base to prevent the payload from rolling. An "L-shaped" flange extends from the bottom of the base and engages a corresponding "L-shaped" channel in the head of an "I-beam" which forms a portion of the flatbed trailer. A brace surface is also coupled between the stop surface and the base for strength. The use of pairs of these coil racks, one on each side of the payload, along the length of the flatbed trailer, prevents the payload from rolling.

摘要： An improved transport trailer is configured for transporting generally cylindrical drum-like containers and includes spacer members which abut the containers in a region intermediate the annular projecting surfaces of the container. The spacer members include a smooth surface for prevention of damage to the container surface and are disposed within the trailer so that the container contact surface is spaced a distance away from the walls of the trailer that is greater than the projecting distance of the annular projecting members of the containers to prevent contact of the annular projecting surfaces with the walls of the trailer. The containers are arranged within the trailer in a staggered pattern to maximize the utilization of cargo space within the trailer and, in cooperation with the spacer members, to substantially prevent movement of the containers during transportation.

摘要： A palletized cylinder distribution system facilitates the transportation and distribution of gas cylinders. The system includes a network of members and cross members, this network being mounted on the rear of a truck. A walkway is disposed on the network, the walkway dividing the network into at least two regions. The surface of the walkway is raised from the level of the network. Pallets of gas cylinders are placed on the network, forming rows on either side of the walkway. The pallets have base portions which include laterally extending tabs. The tabs hold the pallets in place by engagement with a flange defined by the walkway, and with another flange disposed on side rails attached to the network, on the other side of the pallet. The truck has no flatbed of its own; the bases of the pallets, together with the surface of the walkway, define the bed of the truck. Access to the cylinders is obtained through the walkway. Cylinders containing a desired type of gas can be rapidly retrieved without the need for rearrangement of the other cylinders. Whole pallet loads of cylinders can also be easily handled with the invention. The invention further includes a method of delivering gas cylinders in large or small quantities.
