    Abstract: A method and system for chemical transportation, storage, and dispensation, which provides a base with ISO mounts for enabling a ISO tank, van container, screw conveyor, or the like to be carried thereon. The base accommodates either or both of “roll off” or “hooklift hoist” technologies to allow easy loading and unloading. A first end of the base is carried by one or more rollers, and the underside is structured to allow rolling of the base on the bed or rack of the transport vehicle. After unloading the base with its ISO cargo, the transport vehicle leaves the well site and is free to retrieve another ISO tank or container as appropriate, thereby lowering the tractor-trailer capital requirements to support fracturing operations. Weigh scales allow the weight of the ISO container to be determined to allow the operator to monitor the inventory of chemicals as they are used.

    Abstract: An interbox connector used in intermodal transportation systems is provided. The interbox connector is adapted to secure a top container to a bottom container in which the top container and bottom container each have corner castings. A plate is configured to be positioned between a corner casting of the bottom container and a corner casting of the top container prior to the top container being stacked on the bottom container. A first latch extends upwardly from the plate in which the first latch is configured to be disposed in the corner casting of the top container. A second latch extends downwardly from the plate in which the second latch is configured to be disposed in the corner castings of the bottom container. Placement of the top container on top of the bottom container causes the second latch and the first latch to automatically rotate and secure the top container to the bottom container.

    Abstract: A coupling device for coupling containers includes a body part having a fastening piece and a cam part on upper and lower parts thereof, and a planar coupling plate between the upper and lower parts. The fastening piece is fastenable to an upper corner piece in a corner of a container by rotating the body part around its vertical axis. The cam part controls the motion of the body part and receives substantially vertical forces between the containers. The body part includes a first rotating locking part for preventing and/or releasing the motion of the body part, and a second rotating locking part for enabling and/or preventing lateral motion of the body part. The second locking part is in direct or indirect contact with the first locking part so that when the first locking part rotates, the second locking part also rotates, enabling a locking mode or an unlocking mode.
