Abstract:
In accordance with an embodiment, a beverage container is provided which includes an external indication that the beverage container includes a bottle opener or other food opener inside. Such external indication can be in the form of words, or a pictorial or symbolic representation of a bottle opener. When the consumer purchases the container of beverages, they can open the container to remove the bottle opener, and then use the bottle opener to open the individual bottles. This eliminates the need to purchase separately or find a previously-owned bottle opener, and can encourage sales of certain bottled beverages over others that do not include their own bottle opener.
Abstract:
Systems and methods provide multi-use electronic payment arrangements to consumers for executing electronic payment transactions. Embodiments of these payment arrangements may offer added convenience and security for consumers and merchants by integrating payment devices with more useful presentation instruments.
Abstract:
A wearable garment with a stitched or otherwise secured accessory, which is preferably a one piece PVC or injection moulded plastic accessory. The accessory includes a base for attachment to the garment and a disk in the general shape of a bottle cap and bottle flange. The disk is attached together with the base by a flexible tether. The base unit is glued, stitched or otherwise attached to the wearable garment and the, bottle cap shape, is snapped onto the base unit.
Abstract:
A tool for use with a medication vial and a syringe includes a housing having a top side, a bottom side, and a surrounding edge. A slotted aperture is defined in the housing and including a flange shaped to engage a vial cap. A cylindrical aperture is defined in the housing and sized to permit placement of a forward portion of the syringe including a cap into the cylindrical aperture. An actuator button is mounted to the housing, and a gripper is mounted within the housing having a pair of opposed edges. The gripper is responsive to movement of the actuator button to permit movement of the edges between a retracted position in which the edges are disposed away from a central portion of the cylindrical aperture, and an extended position in which the edges are displaced toward the central portion of the cylindrical aperture.
Abstract:
Storage of a golf tool on a putter is disclosed where the golf tool may be easily placed in a storage state and easily removed from the storage state for use to perform a useful function associated with the play of the game of golf. The golf tool is stored on the shaft of a putter directly below the grip of the putter and on a rearward extent generally in a blind spot to the golfer while utilizing the putter to strike a golf ball. The attachment of the golf tool prevents axial rotation about the shaft of the putter from the blind spot into an orientation which would distract the golfer during putting. The golf tool will have at least structures to permit repair of divots on the green with additional structures to perform other functions available on the golf tool.
Abstract:
The present invention is a golf ball support and height adjustment device. Embodiments can include a divot repair tool, a golf ball cleaner, a ball marker, a bottle opener/tab can pry and can include a tapered end that can be used as a golf club groove cleaner.
Abstract:
A single piece clip has two arms that together hold a lighter, and one arm serves as a bottle opener. The inside arm is parallel and spaced apart from the outside arm and both arms join at a common shoulder. The inside arm widens down from the shoulder into a loop bottle opener while the outside arm extends away from the shoulder into a pointed tongue with a loop for a key ring. The outside arm has a pair of flanking flanges spaced apart to receive a disposable lighter. The shoulder and spaced apart arms allows the clip to fit upon a belt with the outside arm outward and the inside arm between the belt and the trousers. The clip has a compact form that fits comfortably upon a person.
Abstract:
A bottle opening wristwatch band, including: a pivot member; a buckle loop rotatably connected to the pivot member; a buckle clasp rotatably connected to the pivot member, the buckle clasp having a protrusion thereon, the protrusion being dimensioned to be received under an edge of a bottle cap; and a rotation stop positioned to limit rotation of the buckle clasp with respect to the buckle loop.
Abstract:
This invention is directed toward a container top opener with a hand gripping portion and a concave container top gripping portion. The device has a series of tapered gripping ribs which allow the device to be used on a wide range of container top sizes. The gripping ribs are directionally inclined such that the tighter a user twists the device, the more securely the gripping ribs bite into the container top and assist the user in untightening and removing the container top.
Abstract:
A system, method, and device for monitoring the dispensing of liquids, in particular, beverages dispensed at a bar or restaurant is disclosed. The device attaches to the exterior of a container and detects dispensing events by sensing tilt or motion of the container, which could include a bottle or a handle. The system includes an electronic sensor device, data receiver, personal computer, bottle opener/camera system, bar code scanner, point of sale, bar camera, network, Web server, and paging system. The method automatically detects and monitors dispensing events, including detecting the type and amount of liquid, reconciling dispensing events with register ring-ups, recording information, saving video specific to the dispensing event, and sending a page indicating anomalies.
