    摘要： A carton for containing and dispensing a plurality of products is disclosed that comprises: a plurality of panels that define an internal volume; a trap door defined in at least one panel of the plurality of panels and separable from the panel along at least one weakened line to form an opening in the panel; and an insert strip positioned in the internal volume at least partially over the trap door. The insert strip retains the plurality of products within the internal volume of the carton after the trap door is separated from the panel. The products may then be dispensed through the opening by at least partially removing the insert strip from the internal volume.

    摘要： The present invention provides bottle sleeves for bottles, such as beverage bottles. Bottle sleeves of the present invention include a rib. In one embodiment of the present invention, the bottle sleeves comprise a sleeve sidewall including a partially cylindrical sidewall section and a rib, wherein the sidewall is continuous with the rib. In another embodiment of the present invention the bottle sleeves comprise a substantially cylindrical sidewall and a rib such that the rib overlaps the sidewall. Ribs of the present invention include at least one rib stiffener that is positioned inside the rib interior.

    摘要： A paperboard carrier for beverage cans the bottom of which tend to be deformed when subjected to sharp blows. The panel adjacent the can bottoms is formed of two sheets in face-to-face engagement. The interior face of the inner sheet contains a number of raised embossed portions against which the can bottoms abut. The embossed portions, which may be comprised of spaced embossed protrusions of circular or other shape, effectively increase the cushioning effect of the sheet and, in conjunction with the other sheet of the panel, protect the can bottom against damage. The embossed portions are arranged so as to contact the circumferential rims normally provided at the bottom of beverage cans.

    摘要： Dispensing device can include a looped member having a plurality of stiff segments connected by hinges. For instance, the device can have five or six stiff segments connected by living hinges, at least three of which face outward and the other(s) inward in relation to the looped member. The device with six stiff segments can fold up so as to be placed inside a beverage container. As well, a dispensing device can have a member upon which a can or carton can rest and a reversible can-stop connected to it. The can-stop can be formed by a small, reversibly folding loop at one end of the member. In general, cylindrical objects exiting an opened carton can be restrained by providing a dispensing device having a generally flat base member and a can-stop; placing the base member under the objects in the carton with the can-stop outside the carton; and allowing at least one of the objects to roll from inside the carton to outside the carton where it is stopped by the can-stop. The device can go inside or under the carton.

A tubular film that extends between first and second ends, encircles the unit to secure the plurality of articles defining the unit. A series of first perforations are defined in the film and arranged in two bottom lines that are spaced from each other and extend along the bottom of the unit from the first end to the second end of the film. The bottom lines are spaced on the bottom to define the film into a lower portion that extends between the two bottom lines and a remaining portion.
