Abstract:
Iron including a body (2) and a metal soleplate (1) that is folded back against the body (2), the soleplate including a lower surface defining an ironing surface and including, at least locally, a peripheral edge (11) where the soleplate is folded up in the direction of the body (2) and comes into contact with the latter to help attach the soleplate (1) to the body, wherein the peripheral edge (11) includes a portion (12) that is folded 180° at the place where the soleplate (1) extends parallel to the ironing surface, and in that the portion (12) that is folded 180° is extended by a latch part (13) that comes into contact with the body (2).
Abstract:
A carpet seaming iron includes a base assembly and a top cover, within which the heating and control components are located. A bimetal thermostat, an over-temperature cutoff, and/or a thermistor and thermistor cover are secured between the base assembly and top cover by an elevated surface of the base assembly. The base assembly may include a base having an outer groove such that the top cover that fits over the base and in the outer groove of the base. To keep the cord away from a user during operation, the handle of the carpet seaming iron may also be attached to the cord by a rotatable cord guard holder that extends the cord away from the handle and a semi-rigid cord guard that reduces bending of the cord.
Abstract:
An electric iron capable of quickly cooling comprising: an ironing base and a housing, herein a soleplate is disposed on the bottom of the ironing base, while the housing comprising a shell covered on the upside of the soleplate of the ironing base, and a chamber enclosed by the shell. To improve the safety just after using, the present iron is characterized by that the shell is provided with a plurality of vents, and the soleplate is provided with a plurality of cooling fins which is protruded into the chamber, and a fan is installed in the chamber to emit the hot air to the chamber with the aid of the cooling fins, and discharge the hot air from the vent by the running of the fan, so as to cool quickly and improve the safety of the iron just after using.
Abstract:
Devices and methods for applying vibrations to cooking surfaces to prevent sticking of foodstuffs to the cooking surfaces and to facilitate improved cooking, such as by producing an aeration and/or spreading effect, and devices and methods for applying vibrations to the iron sole of an ironing appliance to facilitate the movement of the iron sole over a fabric, thereby improving the effectiveness of the ironing appliance in removing wrinkles, especially on thicker fabrics.
