摘要: A system filters profiles of an online business network as a function of recent college graduates who have recently become employed in first employment positions, and identifies codes associated with the first employment positions. The system filters job listings using the identified codes to identify job listings that are closed and similar to the first employment positions. The system stores the identified job listings that are similar to the first employment positions into a first subset of job listings, and analyzes the job descriptions in the first subset of job listings using a logistic regression to model job listings with predictor variables indicating whether the requirements expressed in the job descriptions—for example, requirements of previous work experience—are likely optional or mandatory. The system stores open job listings classified by the model as likely having optional requirements or mandatory requirements into a second subset of job listings, and displays the second subset of job listings to help recent college graduates with their job search.

摘要: In an example embodiment, a method for selecting text snippets to display on a computer display is provided. A universal concept graph for phrases relevant to a search domain is created, the universal concept graph representing each phrase as a node and relationships between the phrases as edges between the nodes. A result in the search domain is represented as a subgraph of the universal concept graph by extracting a portion of the universal concept graph containing phrases contained in the result. Then, a score is produced for each node of the subgraph, the score based on a graph analysis algorithm applied to the subgraph. Then text snippets to display for the result are selected to be displayed based on the scores produced in the subgraph for phrases contained in the text snippets.

摘要: A computer system and method is disclosed for paperless Form I-9 processing, and for automating employment eligibility verification. The system and method displays a series of screens with fillable fields configured to receive immigration information. After substantial completion of the fillable fields by a user, the system displays an affirmation screen with affirmation language necessary to meet a statutory requirement for a valid electronic signature and an interface element affirming such language. Only after the interface element has been actuated is a file containing the completed fillable fields marked with an indication that the file has been electronically signed. The employment eligibility verification aspects disclosed utilize a database and server architecture to receive information provided on an electronic I-9 or other electronic employment eligibility form and perform computerized employment eligibility verification queries with the Federal Government. Scanned documents such as paper I-9s may be uploaded, indexed, tracked, and otherwise processed.
