摘要: A method for facilitating the evaluation of candidates in an evaluation process is provided. The method includes operations of selecting a first data set including ratings of recorded responses of a set of evaluated persons and of selecting a second data set including additional recorded responses of a person under evaluation. The recorded responses are responsive to multiple prompts presented to each of the set evaluated persons in a recording sequence. The first data set further includes an evaluation result of each evaluated person in the evaluation. The additional recorded responses are responsive to the plurality of prompts and ordered in a first order corresponding to a recording sequence. The method includes analyzing the first data set to calculate a reviewing sequence and presenting the additional recorded responses in a second order corresponding to the reviewing sequence. Associated systems and other methods are also provided.

摘要: A system filters profiles of an online business network as a function of recent college graduates who have recently become employed in first employment positions, and identifies codes associated with the first employment positions. The system filters job listings using the identified codes to identify job listings that are closed and similar to the first employment positions. The system stores the identified job listings that are similar to the first employment positions into a first subset of job listings, and analyzes the job descriptions in the first subset of job listings using a logistic regression to model job listings with predictor variables indicating whether the requirements expressed in the job descriptions—for example, requirements of previous work experience—are likely optional or mandatory. The system stores open job listings classified by the model as likely having optional requirements or mandatory requirements into a second subset of job listings, and displays the second subset of job listings to help recent college graduates with their job search.

摘要: A social networking platform allows members to add portfolio objects including accomplishments and journeys. Each portfolio object may associated with a category. Based on the category, members on the platform provide structure information associated with the portfolio objects. Based on social activity on the platform around the portfolio objects, members are able to generate portfolios for activities relating to one or more categories. Portfolios may be specific to categories, sub-categories, teams, and so on. Further, the platform also allows members of the platform to connect with experts to mentor them through an event or a journey.

摘要: In an example embodiment, a method for selecting text snippets to display on a computer display is provided. A universal concept graph for phrases relevant to a search domain is created, the universal concept graph representing each phrase as a node and relationships between the phrases as edges between the nodes. A result in the search domain is represented as a subgraph of the universal concept graph by extracting a portion of the universal concept graph containing phrases contained in the result. Then, a score is produced for each node of the subgraph, the score based on a graph analysis algorithm applied to the subgraph. Then text snippets to display for the result are selected to be displayed based on the scores produced in the subgraph for phrases contained in the text snippets.

摘要: A computer system and method is disclosed for paperless Form I-9 processing, and for automating employment eligibility verification. The system and method displays a series of screens with fillable fields configured to receive immigration information. After substantial completion of the fillable fields by a user, the system displays an affirmation screen with affirmation language necessary to meet a statutory requirement for a valid electronic signature and an interface element affirming such language. Only after the interface element has been actuated is a file containing the completed fillable fields marked with an indication that the file has been electronically signed. The employment eligibility verification aspects disclosed utilize a database and server architecture to receive information provided on an electronic I-9 or other electronic employment eligibility form and perform computerized employment eligibility verification queries with the Federal Government. Scanned documents such as paper I-9s may be uploaded, indexed, tracked, and otherwise processed.

摘要: An improved system and method for matching candidates to a job using job similarity and candidate similarity is provided. A job model with clustered feature datasets may be generated from a corpus of candidate profiles, may be initialized by boosting clustered features weights, and may be iteratively tuned using feedback about the fit of candidates to the job model. A collation of career streams may be generated from a corpus of candidate profiles with a count of occurrences of each career stream within the corpus of candidate profiles. A job profile may be matched to candidate profiles either by determining candidate match scores between a job model of the job profile using clustered feature datasets or by determining job similarity scores between the job profile and jobs in the candidate profiles using career stream counts, or by determining both candidate match scores and job similarity scores.

摘要: An improved system and method for data mining messaging systems to discover references to companies with job opportunities matching a candidate is provided. The system and method disclosed may receive messages from messaging systems of a candidate and may construct a reference graph and a company graph that may provide a mapping to match a candidate with job opportunities identified from companies with a relationship to references. Job opportunities identified from the companies may be ranked by a match score weighted by a referral score. The system and method may thus rank job opportunities at those companies for a candidate where there is a relevant job for the candidate and the strongest references for the candidate. A list of job matches to the candidate that includes a list of references ordered by reference strength for each job match may be served for display to the candidate.
