摘要: Aspects relate to cross-carrier scheduling in wireless communication. A scheduling entity generates scheduling information that schedules a plurality of data transmissions to or from a user equipment (UE) on a first carrier having a first numerology. The scheduling entity then transmits the scheduling information to the UE on a second carrier having a second numerology different than (e.g., less than) the first numerology. The scheduling information is transmitted using control resources allocated based on slot indexes of a plurality of slots configured for communicating the data transmissions on the first carrier.

摘要: This disclosure provides methods, devices and systems for generating enhanced trigger frames. Some implementations more specifically relate to trigger frame designs that support gains in data throughput achievable in accordance with the IEEE 802.11be amendment, and future generations, of the IEEE 802.11 standard. In some implementations, an enhanced trigger frame may be used to solicit a non-legacy trigger-based (TB) physical layer protocol convergence protocol (PLCP) protocol data unit (PPDU) from one or more wireless stations (STAs). In some implementations, the enhanced trigger frame may be configurable to support multiple versions of the IEEE 802.11 standard. For example, an enhanced trigger frame may be configured in accordance with a legacy trigger frame format or a non-legacy trigger frame format. Thus, when configured in accordance with the legacy trigger frame format, the enhanced trigger frame can also be used to a legacy TB PPDU from one or more STAs.

摘要: This disclosure provides systems, methods, and apparatus, including computer programs encoded on computer storage media, for frame based operation and medium contention procedures in wireless networks. In some aspects, devices of a wireless network may perform receiver side contention operations. To illustrate, reference signals from a receiving device may be transmitted to a transmitting device and used by the transmitting device to estimate interference for transmitter side transmissions. Such receiver side reference signals may more accurately reflect the interference profile that transmissions sent by the transmitting device will face, such as when operating in a spectrum shared with many devices. The transmitting device may utilize the beam(s) that satisfy interference criteria when receiving the reference signals to transmit data. Receiver side frame based operation may provide a more stable interference profile which enables better rate prediction, and the better rate prediction may increase reliability and overall network and medium throughput.

摘要: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A base station may transmit a first downlink grant (e.g., a PDCCH transmission) for a first data transmission (e.g., a PDSCH transmission) over a first component carrier; the first data transmission over a second component carrier; and a second downlink grant (e.g., another PDCCH transmission) for a second data transmission (e.g., another PDSCH transmission) over the second component carrier. A user equipment (UE) receives the first data transmission over a first beam and may use the first beam for receiving the second data transmission. Additionally or alternatively, the UE may receive a configuration message indicating a set of TCI states for downlink data transmissions to the UE; identify one or more reference signals monitor for beam failure detection (BFD), identify one or more BFD beams, monitor the identified one or more reference signals; and selectively trigger a beam failure reporting procedure.
