Abstract:
A utility clip may include a base and a cover that is pivotably secured to the base. The base may include a pair of guide flanges that, along with the cover, cooperate to create a passage to retain and support a cable or wire. The guide flanges may be angled in the manner that creates a generally smooth path of travel for a cable or wire retained in the clip. As a result, the flanges may prevent kinking or over-bending of the wire or cable. Furthermore, by creating a path of travel for the wire or cable the user may avoid tangling the wire or cable around himself/herself or around other nearby wires, cables or equipment.
Abstract:
There are disclosed embodiments of a marking clip for marking garments which may be stacked flat on a surface. The marking clip is generally U-shaped with leg portions joined by a bight portion and is preferably molded of flexible, resilient, plastics material and bears repetitive indicia along the outer surface of the leg and bight portions. Two or more marking clips may be coupled to provide selected combinations. A label strip with respective indicia and with an RFID transponder and/or a machine-readable code can be adhesively adhered either directly to a garment across a fold or to the marking clip.
Abstract:
A novelty figurine and carabiner storage assembly is provided. The figurine comprises a head portion, a body portion located proximate to the head portion, and at least one carabiner attachment assembly extending from the body portion for selectively allowing the figurine to be attached to or removed from another item able to receive the attachment assembly. The carabiner attachment assembly comprises at least first and second leg assemblies, with one of the leg assemblies having a selectively openable gate assembly extending therealong. The body portion has at least one substantially hollow interior section and at least one selectively openable door assembly for access into the substantially hollow interior section.
Abstract:
An identification card holder, on the front side of which a replaceable identification card can be placed. A spring-loaded yo-yo is fastened and positioned on the reverse side of the holder, such that the yo-yo remains partially or completely invisible as the card, along with its holder, is viewed from the front side. As the yo-yo is integrated with the holder, the result will be a small-sized, readily portable, and easy-to-handle assembly, which can be distanced from a bearer to the proximity of a code reader for an electric lock without releasing the suspension.
Abstract:
A device housing with a generally semicircular clip assembly for attaching the device housing to a cylindrical object, for example tubing, is disclosed. The clip assembly includes a helical coil spring for biasing the generally semicircular clip against the device housing. In the preferred embodiment, a timekeeping device is incorporated within the device housing. The device housing with timekeeping device may be securely clipped to stethoscope tubing. Also disclosed in the present invention is an inexpensive method of placing multicolor advertising upon a device housing.
Abstract:
A closure for a beverage container that has a cap for overlapping a mouth of the beverage container. An arcuate member attached to the cap having a pair of extremity portions separated from one another and a springing member is connected to the arcuate member proximate to one of the extremity portions that is angularly pivotally moveable in response to a manually applied force, between a first position at which the springing member closes and completes a continuous periphery of the arcuate member and a second position at which the arcuate member periphery is open.
Abstract:
A belt clip (10) for mounting objects to a user's belt. The belt clip (10) has a resilient U-shaped member portion and a hollow hanger member. The resilient U-shaped member portion having an upper end and a lower end with a U-bend portion at the upper end and parallel inner and outer walls extending downwardly from the U-bend. A gap is defined between the inner and outer walls for slidably engaging a belt. The hollow hanger member portion protrudes outwardly from the outer wall of the U-shaped member portion and has a generally downwardly facing wall with an aperture extending therethrough. The aperture provides a means for mounting objects (24, 30) to the belt.
Abstract:
The body of a snap-hook for carrying accessories is equipped with a guard lug attached to the top part and extending facing the lateral branch opposite the finger so as to define a groove designed to be inserted on a support element, in particular a belt, to achieve immobilization of the snap-hook.
Abstract:
A magnetic clip comprising a combined magnetic member/firm plate unit (34) lever, an opposing ferric armature member (22) lever, and attachment means (26) which hingedly connect said opposing levers. The lower proximal edge of said magnetic member serves as a fulcrum (44) about which said two levers can be pivoted by the operator's fingers of only one hand which can raise or lower portions (52), (56), (54), and (58) thereby causing the leading edges of said clip to open or close as needed to secure or release said bookmark to or from a sheet (30).
Abstract:
A device (10) is for the attachment of mobile phones or like apparatus to a belt or other garment of a user. The device (10) includes a receptacle body (12) and corresponding flanged lug fastener (11) which is attached to the mobile phone or like apparatus. The receptable receptacle body (12) is adapted to be attached to a belt or the like by means of a clip (14) positioned on the receptable receptacle body (12). The body (12) has an opening (25) located at its top side portion into which the flange of the lug fastener (11) is received with the lug fastener (11) extending through a slot (27) on the receptable receptacle body (12) communicating with the opening (25) such that the mobile phone or like apparatus is positioned outside and adjacent the receptacle body (12) when the lug fastener (11) is received within the receptacle body (12). The device (10) further includes a locking means within the receptacle body (12), the locking means having a moveable movable carriage (29) movable between a receiving position and a holding position, the carriage (29) receiving the flange of the lug fastener (11) when the moveable movable carriage (29) is in the receiving position. The carriage (29) has holding means to capture and hold the flange of the lug fastener (11) within the carriage (29) when the moveable movable carriage is moved into the holding position.
