摘要： A squeeze-filter plate for use in such a filter press as to squeeze a cake of solid substances which is built up within a filtration room defined between the squeeze-filter plate and a filter plate adjacent thereto. The squeeze-filter plate is composed of a diaphragm means having a central portion and an outer peripheral portion, and a frame for supporting the diaphragm means. The outer peripheral portion has at least one structure for discharge a filtered liquid from the surface of the diaphragm to a passage in the frame. This structure is constituted by at least one aperture defined in the outer peripheral portion having a solid plug portion positioned therein and at least one socket member housed in the aperture for defining at least two discharge passages each of which guides a filtered liquid from one of the surfaces of the central portion to the passage in the frame without clogging occurring therein.

摘要： There is disclosed an apparatus suitable for shifting the plates of a plate filter press. The apparatus comprises supporting means for supporting the apparatus so that it can be moved longitudinally of the plate filter press, and a manually-operable, power-drivable device including first and second members capable of engaging plates of the plate filter press and movable relative to one another by a source of power along a line of action which, when the apparatus is in use is parallel to, or substantially parallel to, the plate filter press. The arrangement is such that, in use, the device can be rotated or swung in order to bring the first and second members into and out of engagement with plates of the plate filter press and, when in engagement with plates of the plate filter press, the device can be operated to cause movement of the first and second members relative to one another and hence movement of one or more plates of the plate filter press.

摘要： A filter press adapted to travel a filter cloth. Sludge is fed under pressure from mouthpieces into between double filter cloths put between a set of filter plates arranged side by side. The sludge is separated into filter cake and filtrate. The former remains between the double filter cloths and the latter passes through the filter cloth and is discharged from the side of the filter plates. The filter cake falls off the filter cloth when the filter plates are spread out to strain it.

摘要： A stack of flat plates consisting of rectangular frames spanned by filter cloth, normally held together under pressure, is overlain by a rail extending lengthwise of the stack and carrying a transverse beam on which a carriage supports a cleaning unit introduceable from the side into the space between two separated filter plates. The unit comprises a pair of horizontal or vertical spray tubes, each extending over the full width or height of the filter cloth, which are vertically or horizontally movable with the aid of a pair of guide rollers riding on opposide edge portions of the frame when driven apart by a fluidoperated expander. The correct positioning of the beam with reference to the separated filter plates can be ascertained by a centering device adapted to be lowered into the intervening space, this device including two spreadable arms terminating in respective sensing rollers.

摘要： A plurality of hangers provided with rollers are movably mounted on wavelike rails disposed above a row of filter plates and in parallel with the direction in which the filter plates are moved. Springs whose upper ends are connected to the hangers support the opposite ends of a rod from which suspends the upper portion of a filter cloth disposed along the surfaces of each two adjacent filter plates. When the filter plate is released for transport, the hangers with rollers are thereby moved and the filter cloth is subjected to vibration produced by provision of the wavelike rails and springs.

摘要： An apparatus for filtering a suspension has a housing with an inlet receiving the suspension to be filtered, an outlet for the clear filtered filtrate, and a drain for removal of filter cake. The housing has a cylindrical part centered on an axis. An output ring pipe is connected to the outlet and externally surrounds the cylindrical part. A plurality of segmental filter holders are fittable into the cylindrical part from above and together form a circular insert with each holder forming an inlet chamber having an outflow fitting connectable to the annular output pipe. Respective sets of filter elements each formed by a respective strip-shaped support and a mesh filter sock surrounding the support are carried on the holder and open into the respective inlet chambers. A removable cover upwardly closes the cylindrical part above the inserts.
