    摘要: According to the invention, in extrusion molding of a control arm of aluminum, control arm is manufactured by a variable curvature extruding process that simultaneously form straight sections and a curved section in extruding a raw material, without pressing forming that is accompanied by solution heat-treatment for forming a carrier fastening end and a bush fastening end at both ends of control arm. Therefore, since the press forming that is required in the extrusion molding of control arm is removed, the manufacturing process is simplified and the manufacturing cost is reduce. Further, the entire extrusion profile cross section of control arm has a double-hollow closed cross section to distribute loads, such that durability of a load-concentrated portion of control arm is increased and the loads can be more effectively distributed.

    摘要: The present invention provides a method and apparatus for a forwardly extruding superalloy parts. The method provides for extruding metal parts from a superalloy material in an extrusion press having a lower press table assembly accommodating the extruded part; and extrusion pot and an extrusion die located on the lower press table assembly; and an upper plunger reciprocally movable with respect to the lower press table having an extrusion punch mounted thereon. The method encompasses the steps of: laterally displacing the lower press table assembly and extrusion pot from the reciprocating axis of the upper plunger; placing an extrusion billet of superalloy material in the extrusion pot; placing a spacer on an upper surface of the extrusion billet; moving the lower press table assembly into alignment with the upper plunger such that the extrusion die is substantially coaxial with the reciprocating axis; extending the upper plunger along its reciprocating axis such that the extrusion punch enters the extrusion pot so as to extrude the superalloy material through the extrusion die; fixedly attaching the extrusion pot to the upper plunger; retracting the upper plunger so as to remove it and the extrusion pot from the lower press table assembly; laterally displacing the lower press table assembly from alignment with the reciprocating axis; and removing the extrusion die and extruded part from the lower press table assembly. The apparatus for carrying out this method has an upper plunger with an extrusion punch and is reciprocally movable along a reciprocating axis; a lower press table assembly having an extrusion die and adapted to move laterally with respect to the reciprocating axis; an extrusion pot located on the lower press table assembly defining an opening therethrough coaxially aligned with the extrusion die to accommodate a billet of superalloy materials.

    摘要: A metal extrusion process with high reduction wherein a metal blank is extruded from a container through an opening which is formed by a plurality of work rolls. The metal blank is guided to the opening from the outlet of the container by causing the metal blank to adapt to the shape of the opening by means of a forming die so that the metal blank does not overfill the opening. This extrusion process is capable of forming the metal blank into a product having the desired cross section with high elongation in one pass and also the radius of curvature of the corner portion of the product can be freely adjusted.

    摘要: A press for hydrostatic extrusion includes a pressure chamber for enclosing a pressure medium which is formed of a high pressure cylinder, a pressure generating piston, a die and a die support and seals. The die support includes an exchangeable support ring which engages the end surface of the liner and bridges the gap between the liner and the die. A metallic sealing ring is arranged within the liner in engagement therewith, forming a gap between the inner surface of the sealing ring and the outer surface of the die or die support. The die support has a groove in its upper surface which contains a sealing member against which the edge of the metallic sealing ring engages. The lower outer corner of the metallic sealing ring is bevelled to form a space which communicates with the outside of the press.

    摘要: A billet of temporarily magnetizable (i.e., soft magnetic) material is deformed by a controlled flow of pressurized extrusion fluid passing between the nose of the billet and a flow control surface, thereby to give the product a preferred texture and crystallographic orientation. Heat generated in the material as a result of the deformation is employed to elevate the temperature of the material to magnetic annealing temperature, supplemented by auxiliary heating means if the heat of deformation is insufficient, or by cooling means if the heat of deformation is excessive, and the deformed material is magnetically annealed in a magnetizing field downstream from the exit end of the zone of deformation. The billet may be round or rectangular, of finite or of indefinite length, and the product may be wire or strip or sheet having high magnetic permeability.

    摘要: A press for hydrostatic extrusion includes a press stand and a high pressure cylinder displaceable in the stand. A punch is mounted for movement into the high pressure cylinder to produce the extrusion pressure therein. The billet and die are positioned by a manipulating arrangement between the open end of the high pressure cylinder and a die support, and the cylinder is moved over the billet and die. Pressure fluid is then introduced through the die support and die into the pressure chamber, flow of the fluid out of the chamber being prevented by a valve arrangement or by seating of the billet against the die. The punch is then advanced into the pressure cylinder to produce extrusion.
