    摘要: The present invention relates to a hog ring clamping device such as a C ring clamping device. In the hog ring clamping device of the invention, a hog ring magazine and jaws are provided to a hog ring clamping device body. A main pneumatic cylinder for moving the jaws pivotally is installed. A feed pneumatic cylinder is attached to the hog ring clamping device body. At least one feed member is mounted to a piston rod of the feed pneumatic cylinder with a unidirectional rotating device therebetween. The feed member is placed in a position for contact with hog rings engaged with the hog ring magazine. A bracket is mounted on the hog ring clamping device body. An arm is mounted pivotally to the bracket and a unidirectional rotating device is mounted to the arm. A presser wheel is mounted on the unidirectional rotating device, and a rod is attached to the arm. A coil spring is used to connect the arm with the bracket resiliently. One end of a flat spring is held between the feed pneumatic cylinder and a bracket for mounting the feed pneumatic cylinder to the hog ring clamping device body. Another end of the flat spring is fixed to the arm, and an extrusion portion extruding toward the neighborhood of the feed member is provided on the flat spring.

The bending apparatus includes an upper bending member (12) and a lower bending member (52) which are moved together to form intricate compound bends in the molding. The lower bending member includes first and second outer tool members (54 and 56) and a middle tool member (120). The moldings are mounted onto the holders (102) of the tool members during bending. The outer tool members pivot along two axis in response to the pressure of the upper bending member during bending. The middle tool member pivots along one axis and is compressed downward during bending. The bending apparatus allows double plane bends to be formed in the molding without damaging the decorative outer surface of the molding.

The coupling shaft is rotatably supported at the end opposite the midship tube shaft and at the center shaft support bearing which rotatably supports the midship tube shaft of the coupling shaft. The coupling shaft is rotated relative to an indicator for measuring radial misalignment thereof, and the radial misalignment is measured at one or more locations along the midship tube shaft. A force is applied to the coupling shaft to permanently deflect the same and thereby reduce any observed radial misalignment.

    摘要: A method and apparatus for forming a length of tubing into a curved, unbalanced and non-uniform shape continuously bends the tubing and then changes the cross-sectional shape along the length of the tubing to eliminate springback and provide a stable part with shape retention. The apparatus includes relatively movable upper and lower half die shoes. A form post, a forming steel subassembly, a plurality of slides and driver posts are positioned on the shoes in Juxtaposed relationship. A clamp holds a length of tubing against the form post. Movement of the die shoes towards each other shifts the slides to continuously bend the tube about the form post. After the bending operation, the cross-sectional shape of the tubing is changed from a generally circular shape towards an oval or generally rectangular shape. A pressure is applied to induce stresses which eliminate springback and provide a stable part.
