Abstract: A method to improve the collapse resistance of metallic tubular products is disclosed. The method comprises identifying the types of stress that can be applied in order to change the residual stress profile of metallic tubular products, such as those that have completed a straightening process, and results in a residual stress profile that improves collapse resistance. The metallic tubular product is subjected to radial compression processing to control the residual stress profile and to enhance collapse resistance. The radial compression process may be used after the tubular product has been subjected to a straightening process.

Abstract: A method for producing a steel tube, wherein a steel sheet is formed into tubular body having a round cross section in a bending process, welded in a subsequent welding process along longitudinal edges facing each other for producing a continuous longitudinal seam, and then subjected to a stress-relieving treatment. Abstract: The sheet metal pry hooks are pry hooks having a hook end oriented in a manner to allow gripping and bending of an automotive sheet metal panel(s) in almost any situation encountered in the repair of such panel(s). As presently contemplated, the pry hooks will be made available either individually or as a kit of three pry hooks having different configurations of the hook, including at least one hook having the hook member offset from the longitudinal axis of the shank of the tool.
