摘要： Apron feeders, having a material hopper and chain conveyors with outboard chain driven pans, are under significant stress and at risk of premature failure at the material-control wings. Herein, embodiments of pan are provided fit with mechanically-fastened wings to mitigate stress risers. Each pan has an upper plate with overhanging portions forming left and a right outboard chain connection. At a high stress location, between the hopper walls and the chain connections, the wings are mechanical secured to an upper plate of the pan. In embodiments, the wings are formed of an L-shaped wing, such as a bent plate, having a base portion for parallel and mechanical connection to the upper plate. The wing's base portion can be fastened with one or more of the bolt holes and bolts that also secure the pan to the chain conveyors.

摘要： A method of and system for on-job-site spray coating of clean fire inhibiting liquid chemical (CFIC) liquid all over the exposed interior surfaces of raw and treated lumber, sheathing and wood used in a completed section of a wood-framed assemblies in a wood-framed building during its construction phase. The system includes a liquid spray pumping subsystem having a reservoir tank for holding a supply of the CFIC liquid; and a hand-held liquid spray nozzle for spraying the CFIC liquid from the reservoir tank, over the exposed interior wood surfaces of lumber and sheathing used in a completed section of a wood-framed assembly in a wood-framed building during construction phase. The CFIC-coated wood surfaces suppress fire ignition and suppression by interfering with free radicals (H+, OH—, O—) produced during the combustion phase of a fire.

Power may be transmitted from a source of linear power to the conveying surface through rotation about an axis perpendicular to the conveying surface. A cable divert mechanism can change the respective orientations of the outputs to divert articles onto more than a single direction.

摘要： An intermediate drive system for driving a conveyor belt with one or more intermediate drive belts. The intermediate drive belt includes lateral rows of pivotable teeth spaced apart along the length of the intermediate drive belt. The teeth extend into the conveyor belt along a portion of the carryway to drive the conveyor belt in a conveying direction. The only component external to the intermediate drive belt that the teeth contact is the intermediate drive belt. Engagement and disengagement of the teeth with the conveyor belt is effected without the use of cams against the teeth.

摘要： A drive has a drive unit, wherein the drive unit includes a central body, a drive means, and a driven means circulating around the central body. Conveyor means or objects to be conveyed are able to be conveyed in a driven section of the drive unit along a conveyor path by way of the driven means. The driven means is mounted with respect to the central body by means of a roller body which circulates around the central body in an orbital track. To this end, the driven means rolls on the central body via rollers of the roller body and thereby the roller body transmits radial pressure forces to the central body. The driven means is driven directly by the drive means. The roller body itself is not driven directly by the drive means, but rather it is moved along solely by the rolling of the driven means on the roller body.

摘要： A conveyor drive unit is provided for engaging and driving a belt type conveyor. The unit includes a motor drive unit and drive chain assembly having a drive chain driven by the motor along a drive path. The drive chain has drive lugs configured thereon to engage with drive dogs on the conveyor as the drive chain is driven along the drive path. The drive path defines the drive angle with respect to a straight path of the conveyor along the drive path. An adjustable positioning device is disposed relative to the drive chain assembly such that upon variable positioning of the drive chain assembly, the drive angle defined between the drive path of the chain and the straight path of the conveyor along the drive path varies. In this manner, the degree of engagement of the drive lugs with the drive dogs of the conveyor along the drive path can be adjusted by varying the drive angle.
