    摘要: A conveyor track support system includes an elongated support rail with an upper horizontal planar support surface removably connected to a plurality of hangers, and preferably suspended from a ceiling above the ground. Each hanger includes a bar projecting outwardly from the lower end and a sleeve slidably journaled on the bar with set screws to adjustably retain the sleeve on the bar. A pair of ears on the top of the sleeve are spaced apart and have set screws which will selectively retain the support rail on the sleeve. The rail itself has a generally "l" shaped cross-section with an upper plate, lower plate and vertical web. A pair of vertical forward and rearward walls along the forward and rearward edges of the upper plate have inwardly directed lips along an upper edge thereof to form an upper channel above the upper plate. An upper surface of the lips forms the support surface on the top of the rail. The lower plate also includes a pair of forward and rearward walls projecting upwardly to form channels along opposite sides of the web. End caps are provided for the ends of the rail so as to retain fluids within the upper channel and the lower channels. The upper plate has a width less than the width of the lower plate such that fluid spilled from the upper channel would be retained within the lower channels of the lower plate. A pair of C-shaped connector arms are slidably journaled within the lower channels on opposite sides of the web to interconnect longitudinally abutting sections of rail. A fastener is inserted through an aperture in the connector arms and the rail web to secure the connector arms in position. Apparatus is also provided for connecting one section of rail transversely to a second section of rail, including a pair of corner clips which are interconnected between the lower plate walls of the two rails.

    摘要: The invention comprises a ceiling mounting bracket for securement to a mine tunnel ceiling and which is used for suspending a monorail therefrom; a mobile advancing conveyor system is, in turn, suspended from the monorail and used to facilitate removal of ore from the mine tunnel. The ceiling mounting bracket includes a flat mounting plate disposed contiguous to the mine ceiling, a longitudinal slot formed on the mounting plate and which is parallel to the monorail when the monorail is pendent from the ceiling mounting bracket, and a pair of opposed lateral slots perpendicular to the longitudinal slot for permitting lateral adjustment and positioning of the ceiling mounting bracket prior to securement to the mine ceiling. A ceiling bracket bar is disposed subjacent to the ceiling mounting plate and is capable of slidable, longitudinal, reciprocable movement parallel to the slot. Attached to and suspended from the ceiling bracket bar is a rail hanger which moves in conjunction with the bar and to which one end of an individual segment of the monorail is mounted. In order to compensate for mine tunnel ceiling undulation, a plurality of rail hanger extensions, each a different length, can be interposed between, and attached to, the ceiling bracket bar and the rail hanger.

In the downward direction, the coupling groove (15) is limited by lateral holding strips (18a,b) exhibiting flat, inwardly inclined holding surfaces (19a,b), which point towards the floor of the said coupling groove and against which are pressed corresponding contact strips (20a,b) of the coupling piece (16), which coupling piece is braced against the holding strips (18a,b) of each of the profile pieces (1a), by means of, in each case, two tapping screws (17b) pressing against the floor of the coupling groove (15). At the bottom, the coupling groove (15) is adjoined by a guide groove (9) for receiving guide rollers. For the purpose of enabling a particularly stable connection of the profile pieces--for example in the case of a rail supported only punctually by means of sliding blocks, which are disposed in a fastening groove and in which threaded bolts engage--the profile pieces can be provided with two coupling grooves disposed at a distance apart one above the other.

Each flexible rail comprises rail pieces and connecting plates connecting the rail pieces together. The rail pieces are in contact with each other. Each connecting plate is fixed to one of adjacent rail pieces, and is pivotally connected to the other rail piece. Thus, the rail pieces, together with the connecting plates fixed thereto, are capable of horizontal arcing motion relative to adjacent rail pieces. The connecting plates, however, serve to limit the arcing motions to a relatively small range.

    摘要: A conveyor system comprises a runway rail in the form of an extruded hollow body of oblong cross-section. The runway rail has a top portion which includes a pair of parallel surfaces including between them an angle. A similar pair of parallel surfaces is disposed at the bottom portion of the runway rail, which surfaces are parallel to respective surfaces of the top portion and include the same angle. A crab having load and guide wheels is disposed on the runway rail, the load wheels engaging the pair of surfaces at the top portion and at least one guide wheel engaging one of the surfaces at the bottom portion. A driving motor mounted to the lateral flange of the crab is adapted to drive the crab along the runway rail by engaging a stationary drive element mounted to a side rail of the runway rail. A hoist mounted to the crab serves to raise and lower work pieces. The runway rail can be strengthened by mounting two runways in abutting relationship, one above the other, or by inserting a square tubing into the hollow body.

    摘要: A girder for supporting a movable body has a truss structure of a cross-sectional shape forming an isosceles triangle with a horizontal base. The truss structure is formed of three main tubes of a circular cross section that are located in positions corresponding to respective corners of the triangle and extend continuously over the length of the girder. A plurality of branch tubes of circular cross section are fixed at their ends to respective pairs of the main tubes by joint pieces, such that three branch tubes lie in a plane extending through the respective joint pieces perpendicular to the longitudinal axes of the main tubes so as to form the isosceles triangle. A rail support is secured to each main tube of the base of the isosceles triangle at a position disposed upwardly and outwardly of the center thereof, and a rail, along which the movable body is traversable, is supported on each rail support.

    摘要: A joist or truss assembly adapted for supporting a grid system which is installed under a stage ceiling combined with supporting columns. The truss has a number of vertically disposed diaphragms which are received and bolted rigidly to upper and lower chords to form the truss. The upper chord has two spaced-apart arms extending upwardly and outwardly from an upper aspect of its central connection portion and which define between them an upper groove which has a vertical cross-section configuration of an upright "T". The upper portions of the chord's arms are horizontal, extending both outwardly and inwardly, to define a slot which provides access centrally into the groove. The lower chord is identical to the upper chord but is rigidly connected to the diaphragms in an inverted condition whereby it exposes at its bottom a lower groove having a vertical cross-section configuraton of an inverted "T". This lower groove including the entry slot as well as the upper groove, is cruciform-shaped as seen in cross-section and is adapted to receive other cruciform-shaped parts of underlying components. The grid system is normally secured in place from the overhead truss by hanger rods through support members having a horizontal flange and a support part of cruciform-shaped cross-section to mate with and be received slideably within the cruciform-shaped groove defined at the bottom of the truss. The bottom of the truss is adapted to receive chain links in its cruciform-shaped groove for supporting depending chains either for safety purposes or for support of underlying elements.
