摘要: Relatively thin collectibles such as movie posters and sports jerseys, as well as relatively thin works of art and the like are displayed through transparent bottom wall regions of relatively thin protective enclosures that are sized the same as and substituted for selected ceiling tile in a suspended ceiling. Each of the protective enclosures has a top wall that overlies at least a transparent region of the enclosure's bottom wall. Preferably the protective enclosures are generally square or rectangular to correspond with the size and shape of the ceiling tile they replace, and have top and bottom walls that extend substantially the full widths and lengths of the enclosures for being connected near their perimeters to cooperate directly or with short upstanding side walls to define thin display compartments that are closed to minimize the circulation of ambient air therethrough for protectively housing collectibles that are to be displayed through transparent central regions of the bottom walls. Provision is made for the bottom and top walls of the enclosures to be separated when access is needed to the display compartments for display changes and cleaning.

摘要: According to the present invention, there is provided a connector laid within a manhole wall for connecting cable-protecting pipes, including a body formed with a passage which said pipes can be inserted into, and a fixing member and a coupling member formed on both ends of said body, respectively, to be coupled and fixed each other, wherein said fixing member includes a first fixing protrusion and a first fixing groove formed on an outer surface of said body, respectively, to be located at the same surface as an end surface of said body and a second fixing protrusion and a second fixing groove formed on the outer surface of said body, respectively, to be located apart from the end surface of said body by a thickness of said first fixing protrusion and said first fixing groove. The end of said body formed with said fixing member is provided with a cover for preventing extraneous substance from invading inside of said body. An inner surface of said body is formed with a fixing sill to be inclined outward so that said fixing sill should engage with a slope of an end of said pipe inclined inward.

摘要: A raceway structure which is fixedly attached to and extends longitudinally along one horizontally extending edge of a panel assembly. The raceway structure includes a U-shaped channel member which resiliently but releasably snaps into engagement with longitudinally spaced supports which are fixed to and project downwardly from the bottom frame rail of the panel. The supports occupy only minimal space within the channel member. The raceway channel member is provided with increased height relative to its width to provide upper and lower interior channel regions which accommodate power and telecommunication cabling systems. The supports are releasably engaged with upper edges of the channel member and provide the primary support for securing the channel member to the panel. The supports also provide a support or backing for the side covers of the channel member at a location disposed vertically intermediate upper and lower edges thereof so that the side covers, even with their increased vertical extent, retain their desired flat vertical configuration and can withstand side impacts which are typically imposed thereon.

摘要: For the exchange of thermal energy between flowable media and the surroundings, said media are directionally conveyed in sectional structures, etc. The invention relates to sectional elements and sectional modules which are used in combination with paste-like, solidifiable coating materials. The coating material passes through the perforated, flow guiding walls of the elements or modules and results, amongst other effects, in an increase of the surface area and in an intensification of the interaction between the flowing material and the surroundings. In a use according to the invention, the external walls, etc., of buildings are provided with a surface composite comprising sectional elements and modules according to the invention in combination with coating materials, for the purpose of effecting economical air-conditioning of the building from the bottom of the basement to the roof.

摘要: A modular medical gas services unit with multiple medical gas outlets supported at the same level on the column. The unit preferably comprises a hollow column with an internal space for housing the gas conduits and power lines. The medical gas supply outlets are mounted so that their longitudinal axes extend radially from the vertical axis of the frame, and the longitudinal axes of adjacent outlets intersect to form an acute angle. In this way, the horizontal dimensions of the column can be minimized while the number of medical gas outlets at the desired height is maximized. In one embodiment, the column is pentagonal in cross-section providing five planar support surfaces for five medical gas outlets. In another embodiment, a square column is equipped with angled outlet panels, each supporting two medical gas outlets. Thus, though the frame is four-sided, as many as eight medical gas outlets can be mounted at the same height on the frame.
