    摘要: An automotive air conditioning system is provided comprising a duct for introducing a flow of air into a vehicle cabin, a closed-loop refrigeration circuit including a condenser and an evaporator, a temperature sensor arrange in the duct for measuring the temperature of the evaporator, and a control unit for selectively commanding operation of the system in accordance with the measured temperature of the evaporator. In a preferred embodiment, the temperature sensor comprises an infrared (IR) temperature sensor that is remotely positioned downstream of the evaporator such that the sensor can measure the temperature of a downstream surface of the evaporator. The use of an infrared temperature sensor allows the temperature of substantially the entire downstream surface of the evaporator to be measured instead of a small finite area of the evaporator.

    摘要: A ceiling-embeded cassette type air conditioner has a driving fan, a heat exchanger, a cabinet, and a deflector. An air is controlled to have desired temperature and humidity while passing the driving fan and the heat exchanger. The cabinet and the heat exchanger define a fluid channel guided to exhaust ports between the cabinet and the heat exchanger. The deflector extends straight and inclined to the heat exchanger, so as to enable the air to smoothly flow toward the exhaust ports without a secondary air-flow. By the fluid channel, the quantity of blown-air is increased with the same motor while the noise is reduced with the same quantity of blown-air. Consequently, the performance and the efficiency of the air conditioner are improved.

    摘要: In the method and apparatus of this invention a wafer for manufacturing semiconductor devices is held by a vortex-type substrate holder against a moveable frame during processing. Motion of the wafer is controlled with movement of the frame. The frame is shaped to provide a sealed chamber through which gas that is used to create the vortices is also re-captured. With such sealed chamber a higher heat conducting but more expensive gas can be recycled and used for the vortex holder and cooling of the wafer. In another technique of this invention, damage of the wafer edges from impacts with position limiters is avoided by inserting a small physical off-set of the center of mass of the wafer relative to that of the frame used to rotate the wafer. This prevents sliding of the wafer within the holder. In another feature of the invention end effects during treatment of the wafer are avoided by providing an extension around the wafer. The extension assures that the treating gas stream provides the same treatment to the edge of the wafer as in its center.

    摘要: A heat pump system includes an outdoor unit, an indoor unit, a compressor, and outdoor and indoor fans. An outdoor heat exchanger coil is connected to an indoor heat exchanger coil by liquid and vapor tubes. A control system limits the pressure in the vapor tubes during heating mode periods of heat pump operation by using a temperature sensor including a switch operatively connected in the indoor heat exchanger coil for sensing a temperature in the indoor heat exchanger coil. The switch operatively connects in series with a motor of the outdoor fan, such that when the temperature sensor senses a predetermined temperature in the indoor heat exchanger coil, it causes the switch to reduce a speed of the outdoor fan, thereby reducing the temperature in the vapor tubes and indoor heat exchanger coil.

The fan having a load deflection temperature of about 100° C. or more by a testing method of JIS K 7207 at a load of 18.5 kgf/cm2. The air conditioner is manufactured in this manner. In this constitution, the required annealing time is shortened, and the productivity is enhanced. Moreover, the flowability of the compound material is heightened, so that the molding performance is improved.
