    摘要: A sealed storage pan assembly for a refrigerator quick chill and thaw system includes a frame, a pan suspended from the frame for slide-out movement upon frame rail assemblies and pan slide members, and a sliding cover assembly. A top surface of the frame and a rear wall of the pan each include a cutout portion for receiving and sealingly engaging an air handler unit for producing convective airflow within the pan. The sliding cover assembly includes a plate seal that compresses seals mounted on rail assemblies of the frame and also compresses a slide cover seal that extends between the frame rail assemblies when the pan is in a closed position. The sliding cover assembly also includes a front seal that is engaged by a front cover of the pan when the pan is in the closed position. Thus, the pan is sealed around the front, sides, rear, and sliding cover interface of the pan.

    摘要: A kimchi refrigerator according to the present invention is provided with an improved door structure capable of reducing the temperature difference between areas of different heights in a storage compartment. In the kimchi refrigerator, an air separation panel is mounted to a lower surface of the door which together with a depression under the door's lower surface defines an air storage chamber. The air storage chamber contains air having a raised temperature due to heat transferred from air inside the storage compartment. The air separation panel separates the air inside the air storage chamber from the air inside the storage compartment. Accordingly, the kimchi refrigerator reduces the temperature difference between the areas of different heights within the storage compartment, and creates a uniform temperature distribution in the storage compartment. Therefore, appropriately fermented kimchi contained throughout the storage compartment is kept cool for a lengthy period of time, and over-fermentation of the kimchi is prevented in an upper area of the storage compartment.

    摘要: An apparatus for making a frozen food product comprising a mixer having no moving parts is disclosed. The apparatus further comprises heating means external to the mixer. The premix and refrigerant combine inside the mixer to produce a frozen food product. The heating of the mixer raises the temperature of the mixer sufficiently to prevent crystallization of the mixer contents at the mixer wall, thus preventing “over-freezing.” In this way, plugging of the mixer is minimized and the end product exits the mixer unassisted by mechanical means, yet is still in a frozen state. Thus, it is now possible to produce a quality frozen food product using cryogenic refrigerants, without causing the end product to be at cryogenic temperatures. The present invention has the further advantage of allowing adjustable quantities of refrigerant and premix to be used. The invention is simple in operation and can be operated in a portable and/or continuous manner. The resulting products can be made as a soft or hard frozen food product by adjusting various parameters, including, but not limited to, flow rates, jacket, temperatures, tube length, and so forth.

The overall air flow is determined by the speed of the blower motor and the speed of the vehicle, and the speed of the blower motor and the position of the inlet air mixing device are adjusted as a function of both the vehicle speed and the selected blower motor speed so that the predefined level of outside air flow is preserved regardless of the vehicle speed and the selected blower motor speed.
