The system also includes a return air temperature RAT sensor (142) disposed in the return airflow and configured measure the temperature of the return airflow, a TRU controller (82) operably connected to the RAT sensor (142) and configured to execute a process to determine an AC power requirement for the TRU (26) based on at least the RAT (142), a generator power converter (164a) configured to provide a second DC power (165b), an energy storage system (150) configured to receive the second DC power (165) and provide a three phase AC power (157) to a power management system (124).

摘要: A system for controlling a temperature a within an interior volume of a cargo trailer adapted to transport perishable goods is described herein. The system includes a fluid distribution assembly and a monitoring system. The fluid distribution assembly is configured to selectively channel a flow of cryogenic cooling fluid into the cargo trailer interior volume to facilitate adjusting a temperature within the interior volume. The monitoring system includes at least one sensor for sensing an environmental parameter of the cargo trailer, and a controller coupled to the sensor and to the fluid distribution assembly. The controller is configured to receive a monitoring signal indicative of the sensed environmental parameter, determine an environmental condition of the cargo trailer as a function of the environmental parameter, and provide a notification signal if the determined environmental condition is different than a predefined environmental condition.

摘要: Various embodiments of the present disclosure provide a refrigeration trailer air distribution chute. The chute includes a first air director attachable to a ceiling of a refrigeration trailer spanning a refrigeration unit and a side wall of the trailer, and a second air director attachable to and extending along the ceiling proximate the side wall to the rear of the trailer. The first air director is attachable to the ceiling along two lines of attachment, causing the first air director to have a cross section of a first shape regardless of whether the chute is in an unexpanded or an expanded state. The second air director is attachable to the ceiling along one line of attachment, causing the second air director to have a cross section of a second shape when the chute is in the unexpanded state and a third shape when the chute is in the expanded state.

摘要: A transportation refrigeration unit (24) to provide a flow of supply air to a selected space includes a compressor to compress a flow of refrigerant and an engine (36) powered by a flow of fuel and operably connected to the compressor to drive the compressor. An evaporator circulates the flow of refrigerant therethrough to cool the supply air and includes a substantially unitary evaporator housing (50) having a supply air inlet opening (52) and a supply air outlet opening (56). An evaporator coil (32) is located in the evaporator housing, the flow of refrigerant circulating across the evaporator coil. An evaporator fan (34) is located in the evaporator housing to urge the supply airflow into the evaporator housing via the supply air inlet opening (52), across the evaporator coil (32) and out of the evaporator housing through the supply air outlet opening (56). The evaporator fan (34) can be located upstream or downstream of the evaporator coil (32).

A temperature controlling device can control the temperature of the interior volume of the temperature-controlled storage unit. Sensors can detect a temperature of the interior volume of the temperature-controlled storage unit. The computing system can control the temperature controlling device to adjust the temperature of the interior volume of the temperature-controlled storage unit to an ideal temperature for storing the one or more physical objects based on the attributes associated with the one or more physical objects.
