摘要： A diopter adjustment device for an optical device such as a riflescope includes a first tubular member having overlapping left-handed and right-handed external threads, a second tubular member has internal threads mated with either the left-handed or right-handed external threads of the first tubular member, and a stop nut threaded onto the first tubular member via internal threads that are of opposite handedness as the internal threads of the second tubular member. A diopter lens is mounted in one of the first and second tubular members and movable therewith relative to the other of the first and second tubular members to adjust a diopter setting or focus of the optical device. Because the internal threads of the nut and the second tubular member have opposite handedness, the nut provides greater resistance to inward movement of the diopter lens than conventional locking diopter adjustments.

The optical sight adapter can include an adapter plate with first and second opposing mounting surfaces, and a registration pin extending orthogonally from the first mounting surface. The optical sight adapter may further include a socket having a recess extending from the second mounting surface to a bottom wall intermediate between the first and mounting surfaces and an aperture extending from the bottom wall of the recess through the first mounting surface along a first longitudinal axis. A removable mounting post can be configured to engage in the socket. The optical sight adapter may include a recoil buffer extending upright from the first surface.

摘要： A reflector sight for a firearm, comprises an adjustment assembly for adjusting the location of a reticule within the field of view. The adjustment assembly comprises: a pair of vertical and horizontal adjustment screws; and a carrier body associated with a reticule generator, the carrier body having a pair of mutually perpendicular channels within which respective substantially cylindrical barrel nuts for the pair of adjustment screws are located. Each channel is configured to allow longitudinal movement of its respective barrel nut along the channel but relative movement perpendicular thereto is constrained, such that rotation of the adjustment screws can move the carrier in the horizontal and vertical directions without requiring any axial movement of the adjustment screws.

摘要： The current system is a method for easily adjusting the front sight post on a firearm. The system is used to aid in easier front sight post adjustments as well as maintain a uniform sight picture throughout the aiming process. The system solves the current problem of viewing two separate sight pictures when looking through a rear sight. The system also solves the problem of needing a separate tool to adjust the sight post. The system includes four critical parts, a bottom sight post tower, a top sight post tower, a front sight post and a mechanism for providing constant upward force such as a spring. The system has multiple embodiments including the use of various sight posts.

摘要： A sight for a firearm is provided. The sight is structured to fit within a channel defined within the firearm. In some examples, the channel is defined within the slide of a semi automatic handgun. The sight includes a base that fits within the channel, and a visual index portion extending outward from the base. A removable firearm component blocks an open end of the channel, thereby retaining the sight, when the removable firearm component is installed on the firearm. In some examples, a rear sight may be secured within a channel defined within a slide by a firing pin stop. In other examples, a front sight may be secured within a channel defined within a slide by a barrel bushing. Some examples of the sight may include an adjustment mechanism for moving the visual index portion with respect to the base.
