    摘要: A method for decoding a 360-degree image includes: receiving a bitstream obtained by encoding a 360-degree image; generating a prediction image by making reference to syntax information obtained from the received bitstream; combining the generated prediction image with a residual image obtained by dequantizing and inverse-transforming the bitstream to obtain a decoded image; and reconstructing the decoded image into a 360-degree image according to a projection format. Generating the prediction image includes: obtaining, from motion information in the syntax information, a motion vector candidate group including a motion vector of a block adjacent to a current block to be decoded; deriving a prediction motion vector from the motion vector candidate group based on selection information extracted from the motion information; and determining a prediction block for the current block to be decoded, using a final motion vector derived by adding the prediction motion vector to a differential motion vector extracted from the motion information.

    摘要: An example device includes a memory to store the video data, and processing circuitry in communication with the memory. The processing circuitry is configured to compare a value of a dimension of a current block of the stored video data to a value of a corresponding dimension of a neighboring block of the current block to obtain a relative dimension value. The processing circuitry is further configured to determine, based on the relative dimension value, that the current block is to be partitioned according to a prediction tree (PT) portion of a multi-type tree-based partitioning scheme. The PT portion comprises partitioning according to one of a binary tree structure or a center-side triple tree structure. The processing circuitry is further configured to partition, based on the determination, the current block according to the PT portion, to form a plurality of sub-blocks.

A screen is divided into four slices (Slices # 0 through # 3). In a case where reference to a different slice is prohibited, the range that can be referred to from the current CTU in Slice # 2 is only the decoded portion in Slice # 2, and therefore, any block in Slice # 1 cannot be referred to, for example. In the case of the present technology, on the other hand, decoded different slices (Slice # 0 and Slice # 1)are included in the referable range, and accordingly, a block in Slice # 1 can be referred to from the current CTU in Slice # 2.

A first video encoding process is executed with respect to a first video source for generating a first video stream by a first video encoder. First coding parameters are exported during the first video encoding process by the first video encoder. The first coding parameters are processed to generate second coding parameters by a parameter processor. A second video encoding process is executed with respect to a second video source for generating a second video stream by a second video encoder. The first and second video sources have different dynamic ranges from each other, and the second coding parameters are introduced into the second video encoding process.
