摘要： A liquid manure pump which, without the use of valves, can alternately be used for agitating and mixing liquid manure in a pit and for discharging liquid manure from the pit into a tank or vehicle for transport. The impeller of the pump is ordinarily driven by an electric motor attached to the frame of the pump apparatus, and knives which are fastened to the hub of the impeller and rotate with the impeller blades stick through the inlet port of the impeller housing to cut up solids and, by virtue of their shape, to force-feed the pump.

摘要： A liquid manure pump transport device comprising a chassis structure, a support means pivotally mounted on the chassis structure, said support means having ground engaging wheels mounted thereon, and hydraulic means connected between the chassis and the support means for pivoting support means with respect to the chassis structure between a transport position and an operable position wherein the wheels are lifted off the ground and the support means form a stable platform for locating a pump in a liquid manure pit when the device is in the operable position.

摘要： A method of moving liquid manure in a liquid manure lagoon involves: driving an amphibious vehicle into the liquid manure lagoon by remotely controlling speed and direction of the amphibious vehicle on the ground, the amphibious vehicle having a ground-engaging propulsion structure for driving the amphibious vehicle on the ground and a floatable vehicle body to float the amphibious vehicle in the liquid manure lagoon; and, moving the liquid manure in the liquid manure lagoon by remotely controlling speed and direction of the amphibious vehicle in the liquid manure lagoon.
